How do we gain the "Righteousness of God"? The first three chapters of Romans describe who is guilty before God - - the evil person, the moral person, and even the righteous person! Everyone is a sinner. But the Apostle Paul doesn't leave us there. He then goes on to describe how - through faith in Christ - we can gain the righteousness that is required for us to stand before God. Paul concludes in Chapter 8 that, since God has kept his promises to Israel, He will surely keep His promises to us. Chapters 12 - 16 then explains how God's faithfulness affects our daily lives.
