Description:	This is the last debate that Dr. Chastain participated in during his debating career of over 56 yrs. He talked to Dr. Phillips and told Jim that he had prepared for this debate for months trying to make this his last great effort and his crowning finale of his debating career. Dr. Phillips did not want this last great effort of Dr. Chastain to be lost. There are 16 debates on 4 DVD's of 2 hours each with Dr. Chastain debating one of the Church of Christ's best representatives. Each DVD consist of 4 30 minute debates. We know that you will enjoy these concentrated Bible lessons that Dr. Chastain put together for the Glory of God. Dr. Chastain taught Greek,and Hebrew in Baptist Seminaries since 1939. He left a fantastic legacy in the training God's men for the ministry and had a lasting effect on Dr. Phillips. He was one of Jim's favorite teachers and a friend. May God richly bless you as you study these classes. Dr. Chastain was a close personal friend of Dr. Ben Bogard and patterned much of his life after Dr. Bogard's life and works. Dr. Chastain taught Biblical interpretation, Greek, Hebrew, Defense of the Faith, and Bible Analysis in the seminaries from the East to the West Coast. May God use these lessons for His Glory and the edification of God's churches throughout this land and to the far ends of the world as Dr. Chastain would have hoped for them to do. Dr.Hoyt Chastain was about 86 yrs. old when he did this debate. He passed from this life in the fall of 2007.
