A Study of Church History and The Theological Evolution of Christendom. This is the most detailed the greatest set of Church History studies that Dr. Phillips has ever recorded to date. He taught these classes in the fall 2006 and spring of 2007 at Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California. There are at least 40 hrs of recorded material in this study. The classes cover all of the history of religion from Adam's time through the ecclesiastical history of christianity & christindome from the time of Christ to the present. Dr. Phillips crammed 2 yrs. of seminary history classes into 26- 1 1/2 hour cassettes or cd's. This study also comes with a paperback booklet, The Trail of Blood, other charts a printed materials, and cd or cassette holders to protect the material. The cassette classes have 14 minutes more material on them than the cd's simply because they hold 94 minutes instead of 80 minutes of recorded material. We do ship overseas but the postage is so high we must ask for an additional donation of $45.00 for the extra shipping. I got this series from Dr. Jim hoping to learn church history, and I did. What i did not expect was that it could be taught in such a way that while I was getting the history I was after, I also got a ton of SOUND THEOLOGY. What an amazing job, This is without a doubt the most interesting and information filled teaching I have ever seen, heard, or read. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this!
This is one of the most interesting classes that Dr. Jim has ever taught. It ties all the loose ends of church history together and really helps you to understand the true epic servival of God's churches down through the last 2000 years. The evolution of doctrines and dogma was especially interesting. Thanks again Dr. Jim for another fantastic set of lessons.
