This morning was a beuiful morning in Flowery Branch Ga. The sun was up and the birds were singing and the tempeture was just right. But as the day went by the clouds began to build and the rains came down by evening. Right before dark as I looked into the sky the sun was no where to be found and then God reminded me even though the storm may be in the sky the sun is still up aboove the clouds. When storms come into our lives we may not be able to see the Son, Jesus Christ but he is still high above looking down on us all. |

I shared this with our church this morning with what God showed me this week in my study time in the old KJV.
If you notice at the end of the verse you will see ;) after saved. Our young texting, computer generation thought they came up with the smily face but God has had it in his word that has been around forever. Its amazing what you can find in Gods word when you open it and spend time with him. |

As a kid I had a drug problem. My parents drug me to church every Sunday and drug me to church every Wednesday. The addiction I have now is Jesus and Church. Thank you mom and dad for dragging me to church even when I didn't want to go.Â
Parents please make a difference in your child's life. Get them addicted to Jesus and church at a early age. |

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
There are times in life when you don't know how to pray or what to pray for. I am so glad God knew these times would come in our lives. When these times come take it to Jesus and allow him to be your messanger because with him you can't go wrong. Hope this is a blessing to all who reads this. |

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. (Psalm 63:1, 3 KJV)
There is nothing like a good thirst quencher on a hot dry day. To me there is nothing like a good glass of ice cold sweet tea to drown that thirst. But spiritually I get thirsty as well and things of this world cant can't satisfy. That's when I call on Jesus and because his lovingkindness is better than life. |

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you......... (Isaiah 66:13 KJV)
As I sit with my wife and watch her try to comfort my little one while she is sick I can't help but remember as a child when my mother comforted me when I was sick. There is no love like a mothers love but the heavenly father Jesus said he would be just like that and comfort us in our times of need. Thank you Jesus for your love. |

I am thankful for all the veterans who have given their lives so we can go free. Our country may not be all we want it to be and many are struggling today but it is still the best place in the world to live. As I read this verse this morning I couldn't help but think of those who have given their lives for us. Thank you Veterans and Jesus Christ for setting the greatest example of love that could ever be shown to this world. John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |
