What is an Epidemic? It is an outbreak of disease that affects a much greater number of people than is usual for the locality or has spread to regions where it is not normally found. A disease that is contagious, infectious, wide-ranging, sweeping-spreading from person to person. Holy- dedicated to God! So we need a move of God spreading through person to person that will come on supernaturally and will be so far ranging that it will seem worse than the Black Plague. In the early church after the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles, people were added by the thousands and then daily and then multiplied. God's Word and the Holy Spirit's presence was so strong that the world sought to kill it by killing believers. In the nations where the underground church is being persecuted the church is growing at epidemic rates. Oh that we would read the Book of Acts and see how a Holy Epidemic was moving during that time and because have the same God today, we could see it just as strong. The problem is not God, it is the pulpits and the churches of America. Our God is still able, are we willing to obey His Voice? |
