A group of around twenty believers gathered in the nation's capital for an outreach at the annual 'Gay Pride' march and rally. The number marching was maybe the same, but many brethren felt the whole parade was subdued in comparison to previous years. Certainly, there were fewer floats this time. The gospel was preached, non-stop, for nearly three hours, and the believers enjoyed some good conversations. We praise the Lord that several homosexuals expressed their desire to be free from their sinful life. One young man, at first reluctant to admit his sinfulness, ended up weeping. May his be a godly sorrow that works repentance. The believers were again mightily blessed, and we are all looking forward to the next opportunity we have to reach these sinners. We magnify the name of the Lord. |
