The headline reads, "War Against Christians in the Middle East," but the article began with a comment about persecution on the continent of Africa. Granted, Middle East includes part of Africa. However, the war against Christians is not specific to the Middle East or to Africa. As I pointed out just today in my regular blog post, persecution happens in Ethiopia, too. In fact, persecution has existed since the time of Christ and will continue until His return--not because some people are more violent than others (as in the Middle East); rather, the persecution happens because John 3:20 is still true: Everyone who does evil hates the light. |
