Ron did come home after surgery last week. The doctor said that the blockage in his carotid was close to the skull and he hoped he would never have to do another surgery like that again. Ron then later had some more complications. He had a few more TIAs (mini-strokes). He was taken back to the hospital in Bismarck twice and was admitted yesterday. The doctor believed that there may be a further blockage beyond the skull. So Ron was sent to a hospital in Minneapolis for further tests and possible treatment. On the way to the hospital in Minneapolis, the ambulance broke down so Ron had a brief stay in the hospital in Fargo until another ambulance arrived to complete the trip. But he did arrive safely in Minneapolis this morning. Please continue to pray for Ron. In Christ, Vern |
