Matthew 16:18 says, "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
God will build His church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. It seems though, that churches are taking Satanic hits left and right. Satan is doing everything in his power to cripple the local New Testament church. Pastors are leaving, people are resisting the truth, and youth are walking away. Luke 18:8 says, "I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" The question is will He find "faith on the earth?" Will He find faith in your home? Will He find you faithful to His church?
These are dark days spiritually, but the greater the darkness, the brighter the light shines. We praise God for what He has done through His church in the last few months. We have seen many come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This has occurred through the preaching services of MZBC, as well as through in home visits by our people. The gospel is still the power of God unto salvation. House to house, and pulpit ministry still work in 2014.
God is looking for faithful people. We as a church are striving to be found faithful stewards of what God has given to us. He has given us the Gospel, His Word, our church, our families, and the provisions to live a good life. He has given us so much and we praise Him for it.
We would like to invite you to join us this Sunday. If you will not be able to come please watch our livestreaming or an archived service at our church.
