CALL TO WORSHIP (Tune: “When I Can Read My Title Clear”)
O, God, my heart is fixed on Thee, to sing and give Thee praise; I’ll praise Thee, Lord, among Thy saints, as we our anthems raise. As we our anthems raise; as we our anthems raise. I’ll praise Thee, Lord, among Thy saints, as we our anthems raise.
I’ll praise Thee for Thy mercy great that reaches down to me In Christ my Savior, I am blessed with all salvation free. With all salvation free; with all salvation free. In Christ my Savior, I am blessed with all salvation free.
I’ll praise Thee for Thy righteousness as sent from Thee above; Thy law and justice satisfied in union with Thy love. In union with Thy love; in union with Thy love; Thy law and justice satisfied in union with Thy love.
I’ll praise Thee for Thy cleansing Word that sanctifies my soul; As in my heart Thou art glorified in Christ who makes me whole; In Christ who makes me whole; in Christ who makes me whole; As in my heart Thou art glorified in Christ who makes me whole;

IF JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS
If Jesus Christ died for our sins, then we are sure for salvation and heaven’s glory based on His righteousness imputed and received by God-given faith. God the Holy Spirit will impart spiritual life and knowledge within us, and we will be conformed to the image of Christ. If Jesus Christ died for our sins, it is impossible for our sins to bring us back under God's wrath as Christ suffered the full measure of God’s wrath in our place. God's law must pronounce us righteous and holy based on the obedience unto death of Christ our Substitute and Surety. Therefore, salvation, holiness, fitness for heaven, is NEVER by works of righteousness which we have done, are doing, or ever will do. It is all of and by Jesus Christ.

ALL SHALL COME
"All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37)."All," not one, or two, or ten, or a million only, but "all." And observe wherefore? They are the God the Father’s gift to Jesus Christ, and therefore they must come. He said elsewhere, "that I should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given me" (John 17:2). Hence, therefore, there is a blessed provision, a blessed security, that they shall come; for they are the Father’s gift to Christ, as well as the purchase of Christ’s blood; and the promise is absolute in the charter of grace – "Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power" (Psalm 110:3). And, to give every possible encouragement to the poor coming sinner, whom God the Holy Ghost is leading by the hand to the all-precious Jesus, He adds, "And him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out." -- Robert Hawker
Regeneration is no mere outward reformation, process of education, or even religious cultivation. It is a radical change of heart and transformation of character – the communication of a gracious and holy principle, producing new desires, new capacities, and a new life. Then, do not marvel that in order thereto, a man must be born from above. -- Copied
If I did not believe the Scriptural teaching of election unto salvation, I would not bother to ever preach again. But since God has a people chosen unto salvation and redeemed by Christ, I am encouraged to preach “Christ and Him crucified.” I am assured that the Holy Spirit will cause His people to hear the gospel and believe on the Son. – Copied
THE DEATH OF CHRIST
Many people, when they hear or read of the sufferings and death of Christ, have feelings of sympathy stirred within them, but the Savior did not die to cause people to feel sorry for Him. As He made His way to Golgotha, some women followed Him "which also bewailed and lamented Him" (Luke 23:27). He said to them, "Weep not for Me" (verse 28). He did not then, nor does He now need or want the pity or tears of anyone. Everything that happened to Him was according to His eternal purpose. His death was not His defeat, but the defeat of His enemies; it was the time of His greatest triumph. His death was the fatal blow to Satan, the removal of our sins, the satisfaction of divine justice and the bringing in of everlasting righteousness. It was the salvation of His people. He died so God could be a just God and a Savior. All for whom His blood was shed had their sins put away, and they will find out about it at the time divinely appointed. Through the preaching of the gospel, the Holy Spirit will quicken them and bring them to rejoice in WHAT has already been done for them and to believe Him WHO did it. It was through the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ that God can pardon sin without compromising His law that demanded death for sin. When we are brought to learn that through the sufferings, death and resurrection of Christ God can be just and justify the ungodly, we will not feel sorry for Jesus, but will rejoice and worship Him. He suffered, bled, died, arose, ascended and took His rightful place at the right hand of God. "God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ" (Acts 2:36).
