 Cancer is plaguing our nation and ever growing to people who have no family history. The Cancer Experts are thinking that it is due to the preservatives and addictives in our foods. Since my several cancers, I have put forth an effort to try and eat as many foods that are not processed. This has not been perfect but at least I have changed quite a bit. I even learned to make my own soups and they are much better than anything out in the grocery stores. Beating Cancer.....a saintly Pastor's wife who battled cancer gave me her secret! You DO NOT research or read up on your Cancer at all. NOTHING. To do so would place doubt and fear in your mind. You pray, trust God in His dealings with you, AND Ask the Doctor, "What's next?" Keep a positive mental attitude about it and purchase the best adult diapers to keep your life going....plus some containers lined so that you can throw up a lot when doing treatments. When doing Chemo.....get home and in bed as quick as possible because you will be laying there unable to move while it seems to shake your brain for sometime. Then get someone to pull your legs over the edge of the bed and get up when you feel like it. Positive Mental Attitude and Prayers are the MOST IMPORTANT secrets to winning over Cancer. Cancer is harder on the people around us than on the person taking the treatments. For those Not suffering the challenge of Cancer.......STOP ASKING US HOW WE FEEL. That gets old quick and there is Still More to Us than Cancer Treatments. We don't always want to be reminded about it all the time. That is the secret. I was given 6 weeks to live. Had the worst pronouncement from the doctors than any of the people I fought cancer with.....did all the above....and I was the Only one to live. I was suppose to be dead by January, 2010. God is in control....not the doctors. To God be ALL the glory! pj |
