RE: Post about Joel Osteen's new book You are completely WRONG. Joel's book does not have people closing their bibles, it has the mainstream audience opening their bibles, realizing that God isn't all the fire and brimstone that most make him sound. Proof: my life. Don't be so negative toward people who are making a difference - and you know, he's not a in-depth, bible study teacher, but he doesn't even claim that to be his calling. He's doing something right, as he is encouraging mainstream people (not people who are already hard bible hitters) to come to God and put him first place in their life. I give credit to people who are trying to make a difference. Thank you Joel for helping me rekindle my relationship with God.
