I was surprised to see that there was an after church "debate" last weekend 11 December between a Strict Baptist Member and a Free Church Continuing Member entitled "Is New Testament Baptisim for Believers Only". The reason I say surprised is that in the baptist church they DO NOT believe that children of Communicants or even of Adherents for that matter should be baptised by the sprinkling of water. The only form of Baptisim the baptists believe in is by Immersion. I hope Mr Manderson managed to convince the member from Reformed Baptist Church Anniesland that baptisim by immersion is wrong.

Hope all goes well this weekend at the Shettleston FCC Communion. Bearing in mind you are the interium moderator for Shettleston, will you have to get cover for Partick FCC for Sabbath 20 november DV?

Thank you Mr.Dunbar.
No I won't need supply to cover the Partick pulpit as I will not be attending the Shettleston communion service. Instead the visiting minister will serve the senior Shettleston elder and vice versa.

Hope the CWI's representative's talk following the evening service in Prtick FCC last night (13 November 2016) was well attended.

Thank you for your interest.
The CWI deputation meeting was well attended and received. If you have access to Facebook you may click this link https://www.facebook.com/Partick-Free-Church-of-Scotland-Continuing-766335450065573/

I notice from here in the USA that whoever is replying on behalf of Partick Free Church Continuing to the comments you have received from other denominations answers them anonymously.

Thank you for your observation.
All comments from Partick FC(C) are posted by Partick's current minister.

So are you saying that individuals from other denominations ARE NOT allowed to make observations about Partick FCC?

Comment:
My name is Donald MacDonald. Mr Donald MacKay also attends St Jude's. Hope that satisfies you.

Thank you Mr. MacDonald for your explanation. Mr. Mackay said, ‚ÄúThat was my reasoning for the suggestion‚ÄĚ, yet it was you Mr. MacDonald who made the suggestion! It seems to me (I acknowledge that I could be wrong) that the two of you are collaborating in asking questions pertaining to the life of Partick FC(C) congregation.
As both of you are currently engaged in a Communion Season I ask you brethren is this what it means when the Bible says, ‚Äúlet a man examine himself,‚ÄĚ? (1 Cor 11:28).

Comment:
Well Sir. Presumably at your own recent communion season in Partick FCC, you had attendees from other FCC Congregations and or other denominations attending some of the services. It would be nice I reckon if some of the people who attended your communion services had the mind to attend other communion services held elsewhere rather than attend a CWI meeting which I presume could be held on any night of the week! That was my reasoning for the suggestion.

Forgive me but I'm somewhat confused! Are you Donald MacDonald or Donald Mackay?
1 Cor 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.'
Until I know you are a bona fide individual this correspondence will cease.

Just a thought. Rather than having a deputation speaker from Christian Witness to Israel from an other denomination I think Free Church of Scotland speaking in your Church this weekend (13 November 2016), would it NOT be better to suggest that your congregation attends the Communion Services in another Church in Glasgow namely St Jude's Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland instead?

Thank you Mr. MacDonald for your comment and suggestion. It is encouraging for our congregation to know that other Christians are seeking to promote our welfare.
You state that it would be better to attend St.Jude's Communion Services instead of attending the CWI deputation meeting, but unfortunately you have NOT giving any reasons to support your argument.

At the deputation meeting we expect to hear how the LORD is working among his ancient covenant people. This is always a source of encouragement for the church, believing as we do, that the LORD still has a purpose for the Jews in the history of redemption.

We wish the minister and congregation of St. Jude's every gospel blessing as they remember the Lord's death until he comes.
