My grandad was a presenter in the Free Church in Easter Rariche, near the bvillages of Hilton Balintore and Shandwick, easter ros. His mother was born on Barra. My Mothers people were Murrays, McKays and Farquharsons from the Isle of Skye. We have just hosted a wee girl with the surname of Murray from Stornoway who knows my son who is in the British merchant navy. He was hosted by a Stornoway family when in the Isle of Lewis. She is a beautiful girl, open honest and refreshingly innocent. Yet accomplished, educated and inteliigent. visiting the Outer Hebrides to see where my Nanna and Great Grandmother came from is my lifes ambition and one which I may get to carry out yet. The last words of Psalm 27 keep me focussed.!
