Grace be unto you Dr. Jim, a teacher and defender of sound faith. I am Ronald Calayco, from Philippines, was raised as a catholic believer until I was converted to the New Testament Church at the age of 17 and become a preacher at 18 and graduated in seminary at 21. As the scripture demand by the writings of apostle Paul to Timothy to "Study to show ourselves mature unto God a workman needeth no to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth". I do always look for any heavy and reliable resources and references to study and to teach scripturaly. I heard and read many wonderful works of great men in different degrees and credentials but still unsatisfied. Through diligent studies and research, I found your websites interestingly. I tried to listen from your audio sermons and then I was very amazed with your very deep, informative and peculiar fair teachings. After hearing from you I said in my self that "this is what I've been looking for. This is what and how I will teach for". I learned well from you in a little time more than I learned in seminary in 4 years. Until now I continue learning and enjoying from your teaching and channeling them to the congregation, seminary, and learning individuals. They are being amazed from my teaching the same as I am always amazed from your teachings. May our Great God and Savior continue to bless you, your family and companion and may your unconditional labor be preserved and continue being fruitful until He Himself will descend from heaven... Bro Ron

Dr. Jim, I am very thankful I can listen to you over the Internet so I can continue to grow in my Christian faith. Your lessons have left a deep impression on me over the past three years because of your insight into the scripture. Warm Regards,
At 16 I accidentally picked up a Bible that was written in a language that I could understand then at 66 I began Dr. Jim Phillips classes that enabled me to spiritually understand. Thank God and Dr. Phillips teaching of the Word of God.

Dr. Jim, We just wanted to thank you for all the help you have provided us, without that help we would not have been able nor encouraged to start our church here in AL. Human nature is such a slothful thing, our tendency is toward comfort, and because of that we would have simply stayed at our mother-church in the same way the apostles stayed in Jerusalem. Your teaching and motivation have been instrumental in our progress and growth. Since the Great Commission is still addressed to the churches today, I suppose so also is the necessity for God to act in "kicking us out" into the world as He seems to have done since the beginning of any type covenant relationship has existed. Without His use of you as a tool, we would not exist as a church today. Thank you Troy Clemens Landmark Baptist Church
Dr Phillips, Pornography is one of the plagues of our time. Our inability to appropriately monitor the internet has allowed our youngest children to be impacted by this leaven. It is so amazing how the times have changed and how the entire world is moving in an ever-developing, interdependent and global economic system. Being a person who has spent two very different times traveling the world with the military my observation of the global synchronization of the cultures is very acute. As a young man I spent several years in the Army stationed in Germany (1976-1985) as an enlisted man. Back in those days there was a very obvious presence of old-world customs and cultures all across Europe. Today I would say that many of those standards have been abandoned, and everyone looks and acts like Americans. As a Chaplain I have spent 12 years with the Navy traveling Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East and have seen that the Western influence of our American lifestyle has effectively been a leaven that has changed everything. Once upon a time Christianity was a respected faith but today, especially in our country, it is increasingly becoming a byword. The age of tattoos and body piercing is subltly bringing us to that place where if we are called to receive a mark to participate in the public marketplace most will do it without any thought of holy and biblical prophecy. When we hold these days over and against the 50s or 60s and 70s(days of Hal Lindsey's LATE, GREAT PLANET EARTH) the metamorphosis of our culture and the presence and influence of the emergent church and its deliberate attempt at illegitimately marrying the gospel to the flesh/world today is, I believe for those with discernment, grievous. My point in saying all of this is that we have got to keep on breaking the ground, planting the seed, and preaching/teaching the Word. The internet is the fountain of good and bitter waters - but as you see there is an absolute hunger for hope, the blessed hope, across the world. The LORD is coming. I retire next year after 22 yrs of active duty and I am planning on going back home and initiating a free bible institute in El Paso. Till the LORD comes let's keep on fighting the good fight and doing things eternal! Blessings, Bro. Mike
Dear Dr. Phillips Thank you for your dedicated teaching and inspiration to remain in the Word of God. You have been a blessing and your teaching is like none other, so clear and understanding. Once again Thank You and may God bless you and your family. God bless, Marc (Adirondacks,NY)
Dr. Jim, I just wanted to leave a comment and let you know how much I am enjoying your teaching. This is the most sound doctrine I have ever heard being taught. I learned the foundation of a lot of these things you teach from my pastor, he also studied theology through the line of J.L. Guthrie, and directly from Ben Bogard, Fred Stevenson, and L.D. Foreman. I think his comment probably sums it up best, "This guy has taken the knowledge of the original languages far beyond what I learned, even beyond those who taught me. If you really want to learn proper theology, the Hebrew and Greek languages are the key." Thank you for all you study and effort. Our entire church body is profiting from your labor.
I have had the pleasure and priviledge of being a student of Dr. Phllips for the last 7 yrs. There have been times when I was afraid to blink for fear that I might miss something he said. The things that we study are beyond imagination to most people. To tell you what I have learned and how I have grown in the Lord would take me a yr. Jim has inspired me to study and read more than I ever have. I would like to thank him for that and to say I will always be in his debt for my growing in the Lord. Thanks Jim for my knowledge. Bill
