Dear brother and sister Vicks, Greetings in Our Lord and Saviour. PRAISE GOD! for your Christian testimony and heartfelt love for Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It was such a blessing to providentially "discover" your YouTube channel and to watch one particular video just yesterday, entitled: "'Mom's Song' In Memory of My Mother" - [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIahSD6p-RQ&feature=plcp&context=C35b393cUDOEgsToPDskI2EnRJkw8XH3FHgnxVvurr ] ... And today, listening to and reading the following was a blessing, as well: John Newton's "I Asked The LORD That I Might Grow" - [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQtl-7dzTu0&feature=related ] ... Just wondering now if you might also have a Facebook account at this time? If so, please add it to your list of website links. It would surely be a blessing for other brothers and sisters in Christ to have the opportunity to interact with both of you there, as well. May the Lord abundantly bless you both wheresoever He leads and sends, and in all the God-glorifying ways He uses you in the lives of others. - "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not" (Galatians 6:9 KJV) - "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:57-58 KJV)

My Dear Sister from years past,

Praise God you are still there to encourage us! I'm so thrilled that you have written again after all this time!

Are you wondering what has happened to us and where is the new music? Please stay tuned. "Through many snares I have already come..." He is continuing to work out the music in my heart and we constantly pray for grace to introduce it to His people. Many new songs have been undertaken. We pray that soon, soon, He will take the music to the whole world.

Pray for us. Please, pray for us - that we may have contentment when wronged, hope when thwarted in our well-laid plans, patient when illness befalls us, light-hearted in the deepest darkness. At last, fret not thyself in any wise to do evil and fret not the evildoers; for evildoers will soon be cut off (Psalm 37). Every Haman will be hung on the gallows he himself built for Mordecai; and every Baalam, who received filthy lucre to divide and destroy the people dear to our LORD Jesus Christ, will bless the Israel of God with every word of cursing. Remember,my sister, the battle is won! Praise His Holy Name forever and ever. Amen. Kathleen

Dear brother and sister Vicks, Greetings in Our Lord and Saviour. Thank you so much for taking the time to share on your Sermon Audio page your posts, videos, etc. earlier. I haven't read any other updates yet for some time since your last post some months ago. I pray that all is well in the Lord and all things, and just taking a break from the internet. The Lord reminded me of you today, so I am leaving a note here, letting you know that I am praying for a blessed LORD's Day for you both. May God graciously bless you with His Word and Spirit, in Our Lord and Saviour, throughout this year, by His grace. "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9 KJV) "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15:57-58 KJV)

My dear sister in Christ, Your letter has refreshed us more than you can know. Oh! How I thank our LORD and Saviour for putting it in your heart to send word to us. We have been taken into captivity, that is true, and have wept many tears by the rivers of Babylon, crying to Him, "How can we sing the songs of Zion in a strange land?" Our sorrow is very deep and would overwhelm us, if it had not been for the many, many tokens of grace given to us in His Word concerning the distress of our brothers and sisters who have gone before us in the Scripture, and especially what is recorded for us concerning the sufferings of Him Who washed us in His Own blood. Many months ago, a foreboding descended on my soul there in that lovely and free Jerusalem, for I was singing loud praises to our God and King when a certain song entered in and pressed down on my soul with some ferocity. It was Newton's "A Believer Free From Care", the last hymn entry in our online diary. I was terrified and felt that soon we would be tested just as Paul and Silas had been in Philippi. The accusations came, we were beaten and held against our will in a dark place. We thank God that we could pray and praise Him by the example set before us in His Word and by the Spirit of Christ in us. We have heard strong rumblings of an earthquake deep below our prison cell. It is about to explode and we hope in Him to be SET FREE SOON and given grace again in fullest measure to publish new songs of praise. We pray that many jailers, yes, and many prisoners too, will escape His wrath by our singing and praying. We have begged our LORD for this and hope that our sore wounds and our stripes might be mollified with that healing ointment only He can administer. May I tell you, dear sister, that many new songs are being formed in my soul in this harsh place, songs that could never have been heard by me unless I had been taken into cruel captivity. I even recall that Bunyan suffered in prison for 12 years that the Pilgrim's Progress might be written! God bless you for writing and pray for us, that this bloodied sword may be put up for a time and the trowel put to use again in fresh mortar as we begin building anew our allotted portion of the wall. Love in Christ, Kathleen

Dear brother and sister Vicks, Greetings in Our Lord and Saviour. Thank you so much for sharing your new hymns/sacred music and taking the time to post here on Sermon Audio! I very much appreciated the information regarding the doctrinal differences of Whitfield and Wesley (http://www.sermonaudio.com/new_details3.asp?ID=21546), as well as the earlier post on Mr. Eternity (http://www.sermonaudio.com/new_details3.asp?ID=20405) --I was not previously aware of these, and am thankful to God to have now learned more about them. Thank you also for sharing some photos of God's beautiful Creation. I especially enjoyed your tranquil garden photos, as well as your colorful Bible Club drawings with all the accompanying Scriptures! --These are all a blessing and testimony of the Lord's work and His good gifts. May He continue to bless you both with a heart to worship Our Lord and Saviour daily, and with a prayerful longing for revival, that many souls would be saved by the sovereign grace of God. May we also pray that the Lord would use each one of His children, in His will and timing, that we may have the privilege and blessing to see revival in this land and abroad, and rejoice as sinners are saved and as saints repent and are encouraged and restored unto Him.

It is such a joy and blessing to see your weblog on Sermon Audio again! I am so thankful unto the LORD for this answer to prayers from years past (and I will continue to pray for you, as the Lord wills and leads)... I remember your love for the LORD, your personal ministry to others online, your evangelistic zeal, and your special gift of piano playing and hymn singing together. Thank you so much for sharing your lives and love for Our LORD Jesus, for your prayers, and for sharing the sacred hymns that God has given you to play, sing, and write to His glory and to bless others. May He continue to bless you both with a heart to worship Our Lord and Saviour daily, with a prayerful longing for revival with many souls saved by His grace, and with much fruitfulness and joy in Him.
