“ Excellent Exposition on Calvinist 'Proof Text' ” Just from reading the context, I knew this small portion of scripture did not mean what those in the "Reformed" churches (about 90% of today's churches) said it meant, but I could not word it as well as you did. The cross reference in Acts was tremendous! If God's Word is truth (and it is), it will never contradict itself. I think that a couple problems contribute to people not rightly dividing the Word of God today: 1) People are not studying God's Word daily 2)The modern (per)versions have changed God's Word and 3) as education is more and more "dumbed down," folks do not seem to have good English grammar and inductive learning skills anymore. Please continue to preach God's Word completely and faithfully in season and out of season. Lord, please strengthen this pastor and his family as the time is getting shorter and days are becoming darker. We pray for the salvation of the "many" for whom You paid the price and from whom You deserve all the glory!
“ Today's Lost People ” Being a Christian has much to be understood between True and False believing. There is an increasing deception in many churches about what is being taught. False teachers are growing and the people are not discerning of what is being taught and end up heading to hell. Only by understanding and studying the Holy Scriptures and not merely hearing preaching will lead you into heaven.
“ Excellent Sermon! ” This is an excellent message about the revealing of the Holy Spirit as the Holy Bible shows. The Holy Spirit fills the true Christian with works and power that is with us throughout the day, every day. This message has much that we sometimes don't realize or forget, so we all benefit from this message/sermon.
“ Great Sermon! ” Old fashion Gospel is better than fine gold. My family and I moved away from coperas cove back in August 2011 for a promotion. My family and I miss victory baptist church.
Its hard to find a good church willing to preach the gospel as it is written from the bible because allot of churches are concerned that they may offend someone with the gospel. After moving 3,737 miles away I am still able to hear the gospel because of the victory baptist website, I want everyone to know that lives continue to change outside the walls of VBC and only god knows how many lives have received salvation. With your ministry broad casted over the Internet the darkest of places can find light and people can find salvation.
