A Nail Pierces the Darkness

“ Relevant! ”
This sermon is so relevant and applicable to every life and every church. In regards to the church; as Martin Luther had to stand up and proclaim the truth despite the reactions of the church of the time, so we must stand up for the truth of God's word that is so often becoming watered down and improperly delivered in the modern American church. In regards to personal application; it is a true struggle to stay humble before God and rely fully on His righteousness. It takes just a matter of seconds to change from the tax collector to the Pharisee and not even notice.

“ Inspired! ”
Not often have I been witness to something so obviously created by the hand of God. Perhaps never! As one who struggles with the flesh from Sunday to Sunday!! Suddenly looking forward to what might be? Has got to be by the hand of God. No secrets here....

“ Powerful Sermon! ”
"Strengthen Your Brothers" was both insightful and inspiring. It is always a wondrous thing to watch as God changes His people through growth and mended relationships as well as furthering Spiritual intellect. This sermon had all these things and probably can not be digested properly and completely in a single hearing. Praise the Lord our God.

“ A Chain Reaction ”
I was there to hear this sermon in person, and afterward, I can tell you, it really set off a chain reaction in the church, many people were huddling and praying together, and God was glorified. Listen up if you want to hear a truly important message.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Bring it! This is one of the best sermons I have heard in such a long time. It is the truth! It made me very uncomfortable. I do have an exaggerated opinion of what I deserve. I am selfish. I need to be Godly and love Him more than I love myself.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Another encouraging message! This one can spur you on to continue in God's work or cut you off at the knees and force you to listen to what you are suppose to be doing. Just another testament to the fact that when you begin to get in line with God's Word hearing God's law becomes an encouragement.

“ Great Sermon! ”
This is a much needed dose of encouragement! I have found a couple of people walking around this week quoting "it's not in vain..." right before doing some task that will go unnoticed and unappreciated. It is so important to remember to do things unto God and not unto ourselves or others; this is the key to staying encouraged.

“ Much Needed Encouragement! ”
It can be very easy to wake up one day and feel (feel being the keyword here) that all that I do has no meaning. This sermon really helped me see truth about working for God's kingdom and how nothing that any of us do for God is in vain. Everyone in ministry should listen to this as to become less discouraged! 1 Timothy 4:1

“ This sermon was....... ”
It really did bring a whole new meaning to the word "humility". The movie that we were watching in the youth group "The gospel of John" helped a little bit with sermon. But when you broke it down it really showed the significance of not just feet washing but also forgiveness, Jesus said "Forgive one another, as I have forgiven you." And I took that passage as "oh yeah well thats obvious, of course" but it didn't just stop there. Even though Judas sold out Jesus for 30 pieces of silver and Peter denied Jesus three times in the same night that He got arrested, Jesus still humbled Himself and washed his disciples feet washing off the filth of their feet and washing them clean (showing forgiveness). I was having a hard time forgiving some people and also humbling myself to athority and the sermon shows that it is what I HAVE to, its not an option. You were talking about how the disciples wanted to be the closest to Jesus, like who was the "best" disciples. And that's where I also fell. I wanted so bad to be the "best" christian that I stopped thinking about Christ and started thinking of self and how I could make myself better. Feel free to correct me where I was wrong. God Bless, Give me a call anytime.

“ Pass Me Some Humble Pizza ”
This is one of the best sermons I have heard. It is helping me to understand humbleness and how to do to others how Christ has done unto me. I can't wait to listen to the next sermon.

This is a cure for doubt, and peace for the concerned. God is soverignly soverign over His soverignty! Next time I begin to think that God can't help me, I need to listen to this again.
