Needed today Sermon! This is a strong message showing the power of God's Grace in man's salvation. These brief words should be heard in today's churches instead of the weak sermons discussing social issues.
Saved? Hearing Gods word, is literal.. Not just reading from the Bible. A saved soul hears His voice and it doesn't come from reading. God speaks to those that are His..and He speaks thru those that are His to those that aren't . To get saved, is not something we planned. A preacher who doesn't know God personally, has not be called at all
Informative and Enlightening Blessings, Pastor Cardwell! I learned a lot listening to your teaching over this often-neglected chapter. I read Genesis 36 today and knew I was missing something, so sought out a sermon and am glad I came upon yours. You smoothed out the wrinkles and put the Edomites in a bigger context, drawing out names like Bela and Amalek and tying them in to Balaam and even Herod. I have a much firmer grasp on this chapter now than I did an hour ago, and I thank you! Full disclosure: I must admit it was your sermon title that drew me in, since I grew up watching The Dukes of Hazzard. That was a clever pop culture connection you made (and effective!). Thank you once again for sharing the fruits of your diligent studies with us!
Great Sermon! This is a sermon to stir the heart, to fill you wonder, awe and gratitude that such an enemy of God should be the recipient of such infinate and costly, and freely given, forgiveness and grace.
Great Sermon! execelent sermons the best I have heard on the net also the best speaker, he did not just read them but seemed to feel what he was saying and understood the importance of what he was reading.
Great Sermon! I first heard this taped sermon over 25 years ago. And was even fortunate to hear Bro. McKinney preach in person in East Texas. It is still one of the best sermons on God's Sovereignty in salvation that I have ever heard.
Precious Sermon! It has been my distinct pleasure to know Granville Gauldin and to call him brother, friend, and beloved elder in Christ's church. A retired preacher, at 83 years young, he is one of THE most kind and humble of God's children I have ever met. I pray that his humility and kindness will be, if the Lord is merciful to me, virtues that may be added to my faith as I see them so clearly in Brother Granville.
As far as this message is concerned, I have heard preaching of God's sovereign election from some of the most mighty men used of the Lord in these days; yet, I have never in my life heard a message on election that is so precious in propositional truth or so sweet in sanctified doctrine as this message here. I have never rejoiced more in the security of my salvation by God's sovereign election than through this message delivered by Brother Granville. I was beside myself in the precious presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at the close of this blessed sermon.
Great Sermon! Very good message. No matter the text, you always end with Christ and him crucified-the cross, and why not? He is the reason you preach and his followers listen. I've not heard this before. Very much enjoyed it.
Thank you, Wendy! Thank you, Wendy, for your encouraging words. I've passed them on to my dear brother, Aaron Acker.
It was certainly an honor and blessing to have him bring to us a devotional message from Psalm 23 at our recent Flowing Faith Conference. The entire time I was listening to this message, I kept thinking, this brother truly knows the Great Shepherd of whom he speaks.
May our Lord Christ continue to bless you and keep you.
