Great Sermon! Great message. I have just recently discovered brother Alltop here on SermonAudio he is quickly becoming a favorite along with Reg Kelly and Jeremy Ballinger.
All preach the word the way it should be. Good hard and right out of the Authorised King James Bible. Keep it up.
Powerful, heart-changing sermon! Thank you for this message. My prayer life is changed because of this sermon. Truth delivered that all believers would agree to, things we know and believe...yet preached in such a way as there is no option but to gladly take action for the better.
Full refutation of modern 'scholarship'! Wonderful message! I just started listening to Gipp a few weeks ago, and he is one of my new favorite speakers. He can weave excellent humor into his messages, and mark these words, YOU SIMPLY CANNOT REFUTE HIM! This particular message, "Agape and Phileo," walks the audience through several verses to expose a deceptive use of modern Greek "scholarship." All the lexicons in the world couldn't correct Gipp here. Consider: if the Bible critics have made such a corny mistake here, who knows where else they're trying to deceive you? Gipp proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that you simply cannot trust those who attack the KJB, and you might as well throw out the lexicons and just trust your Authorized King James Bible as your final authority. "Let God be true, but every man a liar" (Romans 3:4).
That's good preaching, amen! Thank you for these faithful reminders and exhortations! May the Lord continue to use you and faithful men of God to preach from The Book. This sinner saved by grace is grateful for solid sound doctrine KJV preaching, which is unavailable in my town, as far as I am aware. God bless you and your family, brother Alltop, and the family of God at Bluegrass Pike.
Great Sermon! Really lovely sermon but for completion I think we need to look at the full verse of scripture Romans 8 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
That still leaves me pondering - what happens to Christians who walk after the flesh ( they are certainly all around ). Are they condemned ???
Great Sermon! Thank you for these exhortations, brother Alltop. The sermons of Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church have been food for this hungry soul. I am very grateful for faithful preaching form the Old Book. Amen.
