“ Great Sermon! ” How all of us(the sheep and pastors) need to hear and be reminded of this message (this topic)more often in the grace gospel churches and how the world needs to hear it. We so often defend and push other doctrine more often than we hear this one. I was convicted of my sin of unforgivingness in my heart and the pastor did'nt have to shout at me he had a calm and factual Biblical message sometimes that goes alot further than yelling. There is a difference between being born blind and being reprobated for rejecting Christ, as Israel was. They were blind naturally, but God also blinded them for unbelief, shut and closed the door, etc.
you say in your first line, "we're born blind but we can repent" This sounds like an Arminian. The unregenerate man can only sin. He must be quickened to life (new birth) then God grants the elect one faith and repentance. Acts 5:31 11:18 Eph.2:8
“ Great Sermon! ” This message gave me a turning point in my christian life, prompting me to return to the Lord and once again take the journey and walk with Him at His command. It is an awesome message, a message to remember for the rest of my life. And I hope to abide in Him and have the courage to blow the trumpet to draw God's attention back on me.
