Quote along the lines of this edifying sermon... “If you don't feel strong desires for the manifestation of the glory of God, it is not because you have drunk deeply and are satisfied. It is because you have nibbled so long at the table of the world. Your soul is stuffed with small things, and there is no room for the great.” - John Piper
Great Sermon! WOW: "In God We Trust - Part 2" God raids my refrigerator and just takes what He wants, WOW ... sits on my couch and eats & drinks it all up.
Great Sermon!(53rd on my odyssey) Thankyou brother Faris for this encouraging, but challenging sermon. I am on an odyssey of listening to a sermon on each book of the Bible, preached by a person whom i have not heard before. This is a blessed venture.May the Lord be pleased to bless your ministry to the glory of His name.Thankyou again Sermonaudio...what a great site this is.Quite awesome...praise the Lord !
Clear & Well Thought Out Thank you for your fine exposition of this passage. The sermon handled the text thoroughly and the message flow was easy to follow. The message was also well focused -- leading us back to our FINAL AUTHORITY, Christ, who daily calls us to yield our hearts.
Good job of working through a difficult text. Most preachers can take the great texts of Scripture and preach good sermons from them. However, one thing which sets apart the great preachers is their ability to take the more mundane passages and make them come to life for the congregation. Pastor Wise has done that very thing with his explanation of this genealogy from Exodus 6 turning the eyes of the audience toward the mercy and faithfulness of God.
