Great Sermon! This was exquisite both in content and providential timing.
My paths crossed with someone I had not seen in a few years. He assumed I was still working at my previous job. When I told him I was not he seemed very surprised and commented that "it was such an important and professional job, what happened?"
I'm afraid it got to me and I went home asking God the same thing and struggling to submit in trust and faith.
This sermon encouraged me to renew submission, faith and obedience.
I have been applying for jobs that pay a fraction of what I previously earned but have been unable to find work. It seems that the Lord will need to give favor with the right employer.
Thank you again for this message! |

Great Sermon! The hideous, tortured character Gollum from the movie "Lord of the Rings" is an inspired example of what our wicked thoughts look and feel like. Awesome illustration of the abasement and bondage that happens in our hearts and lives when we do not walk uprightly with Him. Thank you for the encouragement that we can fine cleansing and a renewed mind in the Lord. |

Great Sermon! Listening to this sermon is a bit like picking fruit as you keeping working on your tree until you obtain all the ripe fruit.
Listen to this sermon twice if you are distracted by the background noise. Its worth it to make sure you "hear" what is being said.
I liked what was said about work/employment issues. It may not seem realistic in some aspects as most work places are challenging to the saved person but what was said needs to be considered in prayer. |

Great Sermon! Jeremiah 17:5&6 speaks of a man who does not trust the Lord but lives a parched life and does not see good when it comes. If we make flesh our strength we will always dwell in a discontented wilderness. To trust in the Lord gives us those eyes of faith that helps us see His good and be thankful for what we have. |

Great Sermon! It is so difficult to not look down at the waves and feel that one is perishing at times while seeking to wait on the Lord. Pastor La Belle is much used of the Lord to teach the importance and necessity of waiting on God. From reading numerous comments and needs of others on sermon audio I would pray for myself and other believers, "Lord I believe, Help my unbelief". |

Great Sermon! "Faith is an intelligent grace". What a great quote. Unbelievers and the world want you to feel that faith in God is unintelligent and unrealistic. Afflictions from the Lord renew our hearts in this truth. |

Great Sermon! Audio volume recording on your church sermons normally have been good. But for this sermon online last Sunday, audio was very low. I turned full volume on my computer, and it is still low. Hope there is improvement next time.
My 2 cents! |
