“ Great Sermon! ”
Needed to be said. Found while looking for a similar sermon on the Duggars. Sadly I found none. Much of this stuff applies to the Duggars too. Their reality show may have been more 'moral' but they were also friends with the world and allowed many do the things they claimed to be against on their show (immodestly dressed women for one). They had makeovers done and were the darlings of People magazine and went on every worldly tv show for interview you could think of. The girls also did an interview for Cosmopolitan magazine. All this stuff was done under the guise of 'shining a light in the world'. I've never know JESUS to be mentioned in any of their shows! The girls had become vain and wore heavy makeup and constantly posted 'selfies' on social media. You cannot be friends with the world and not be an enemy of God. This is not truly following Jesus. Professing christians do fall over anyone who claims to be a christian and is on TV or a celebrity in some way. Shame on them. They are just showing what is in their heart (a love of the world) and think they can make it ok if it has a 'christian' flavour to it. No. JESUS sees through this and eventually it will get exposed for what it is. Don't be a dumb false christian be a real Christ Jesus follower.

Sermon:
Confession of Sin
Robert W. Reed

“ I John 1:9 Struggle Over! ”
For years I have struggled with this verse. Thinking, if we are truly forgiven as believers (which we have to be at moment of salvation or we cannot be allowed into the presence of a holy God when we die) then we don't need to be forgiven again. If we teach we need to ask for and be forgiven again, we confirm the false teaching that we lose our salvation when we sin. Also, if we have to confess every sin to be forgiven, what if we forget to confess a wrong thought we had (who can remember all the things we do or think that are sinful even in 1 day??!)? Hence my struggle with this verse. But Bro Reed helped me so much in this sermon. He pointed out that there is more than one kind of forgiveness. One perpetual kind that we receive at salvation and the other a relational forgiveness between a Father and child! Thank you or helping me!

“ A much need sermon! ”
Thank you pastor for such a studied and especially biblical exposition on C. S. Lewis’ shameful life and corrupt writings. It is scary that the majority of church members in the West have been taken in by this wolf in sheep’s clothing; an obvious sign that the Word of God is not being read in the home or preached from the pulpits and that folks and pastors rather yearn for being accepted by this fallen world.

“ Instructive guidelines ”
There are important truths presented about the music from the Romantic period onwards. Yes, music has a language and is not amoral. Yet, Bach and some Baroque music differ from such modern styles in purpose and structure, as it is balanced music having a sense of direction, appealing to the spirit, and normally characterized by order, joy and beauty. Valid music reflects the attributes of God, not base, lower feelings, as sensuality, revenge, frustration, fear, or contempt for example. Good to listen to your observations.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Well Stated Mobi: Mobi Listener from NorthWest “ Great Sermon! ” This is a good introduction that helps unwrap some of the false teaching about this topic of a secret rapture, and "The Antichrist" and his covenant. It exposes false date setting by Chuck Smith, Jack Van Impe, Hal Lindsey. It touches The Harbinger, 4 Blood Moons, and of course the Left Behind stuff in review. -and several others. It points to hope in Christ for the present and future! Well balanced! [I wish I could get an outline or the further scriptures used in this sermon, because it is hard for me to write and listen but I really want to study the scriptures close and a -"help"- would be helpful.], according to Mobi
