Life-saving Truth for Our Time! This message by Pastor Reed was excellent! It would be extremely hard to find a church or pastor that would preach this truth like this. It would be considered too offensive, but folks, we NEED to be offended AND convicted ... so that we can REPENT! Our lives are so permeated by Rock and Roll, and most churches embrace it in one form or another. But if the churches wont take a stand against sin, who will? Rock and roll music has been a stumbling block for me throughout my life, as a former drummer and guitarist in bands, but also listening to it since those days long ago. There is a spirit to rock music that attacks one's Christian walk and testimony. It would be great if everyone that hears this message would give a CD copy to all the pastors they know. Thank you Pastor Reed for preaching what thousands of others should preach as well. That isn't false flattery, but simply the truth. In Jesus' name, Amen!
1 Peter 2:13-17 is a great passage to masticate.
To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.Tit 3:2
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty 1 Ti 2:2
Posters violate these scripture thinking they will say "Lord, Lord, did not we ..." with impunity.
Great Sermon! Thank you for another good sermon. Ironically, it was an Amalekite who was the proximate cause of Saul’s death after he had fallen upon his sword and was not yet dead. He called unto the Amalekite to stand on him and slay him.“So I stood upon him, and slew him after that he was fallen:…(2 Sam 1:1-16)
Building on the Rock If christian parents heeded this truth from God, taught by this man in this message, many of our children would not be the hedonists, atheists, and materialists that they are. Biblically accurate, as well as historically accurate. Christ exalting and God honoring from beginning to end.
Worship God. And teach your children to do the same, and get them out of that pagan temple called the public school!
Great Sermon! Great! Thank you so much,I thank God for your teachings on this. It's much needed. Thank you for having the nerve to talk about the truth about television, it needs to be repeated.May God bless you.
Great Sermon! Dear Pastor Reed,
I continue being blessed by the Truth and Wisdom of your sermons.
Please send me a copy of the Old and New Testament verses you have used in your teachings. Thank you.
Please feel free to use my email address.
May you continue comforting and uplifting our lives!
Great Sermon! This series is full of scripture references as always. This particular sermon highlights and outlines several parables in Matthew and so on, that clarify the Kingdom of God. I noticed that after listening to this sermon, there were several things in my regular reading time (which is in Revelation), that also became clear. Well done sermon...! Thank you Pastor Reed!
Great Sermon! Very good message /warning about the prolific but warped writings & mind of C.S. Lewis. So sad that people quote from C.S. Lewis instead of quoting from the very words of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I worked in 2 Christian Book and Bible stores in So. Cal., USA, and the owner/buyer stocked Lewis' titles. I never suggested anyone read his stuff but instead urged them to buy "More Than A Carpenter" or "The Resurrection Factor" for good apologetics books.
Lewis might ( maybe ) have been a Christian --- but his famous writings are not Biblical.
If you want to read good writings by an English author --- read anything written by Bishop J.C. Ryle of Liverpool, or John Bunyan.
Hope some more Pastors/Profs./Teachers will tell the truth about this weaver of fantasy tales & Sci-fi silliness. Stick with the Bible instead of buying/reading stuff by someone who did NOT trust all 66 Books to be inspired.
Great Sermon! Excellent, thought provoking sermon. I appreciate your loyalty to the King James Bible and your understanding of the importance of not questioning or correcting God's word. If your position on Easter here is correct - and it may very well be - shouldn't we be observing the resurrection of Christ on the 17th day of the first month (the actual day He arose) every year rather than changing the date around like we currently do? Something to think about.
Great Sermon! The Lord really used this sermon to help me examine my heart for corners that need to die. It's actually such a freedom to be able to see things that you thought had been dealt with, that weren't.
Thank you for this sermon Pastor!
