Great Sermon! Four things men are deceived about. Very good sermon. I listened to one other of your new sermons, I kept putting in the right number but it kept saying it was the wrong number. I tried to e-mail you thru my web site but couldn't get thru, so I gave up.

Depending on God. Good and useful reminder of the fact that in our powers we can do nothing for God, but that God uses His people as instruments for His work, empowering them for service and establishing the works of their hands, for Christ and in Christ. We depend totally on God for service, succes and rewards.
Based of the Bible. I liked this idea: Protestantism basically means an attitude toward the Bible. Paul teaches us to base our doctrines on the Scriptures and the Scriptures center on Christ and His salvation.
Call to faithful preaching. We must preach only what God told us in His revelation. We must stay in His presence, to receive a message from Him to His people. We must speak plainly and publicly what we heard from Him. God will vindicate His message spoken by us.
Call to faithfulness. We are called to handle faithfully the Word of God, as Paul did. We are to preached only the Word of God as received from God, not human opinions, because The Holy Spirit, the inspirer of the Word will not put His seal upon human teachings, but only on the Word He inspired.
Liberty in Christ. It is true: in Christ only we have spiritual liberty from sin, condemnation, hell, superstition and human traditions. It is a continual war to maintain this liberty which Christ gave us.
Bless you Rev Foster I encourage my fellow Christians of like precious faith to listen to Rev Foster in this study of Judges 2. I found it of great value in our day not so unlike the days of falling away throughout the Book of Judges
I look forward to listening to his other sermons in Judges
Great Sermon! I praise and thank the Lord upon hearing this sermon;
Scoffers will come and mock against the truth of the coming of the Lord.
The act of scoffing is a childish thing where one has no ability to evaluate or comprehend real things.
Scoffing is the result of being ignorant about the serious reality of the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
If we, the believers hear the scoffers, it's time to turn to the word of God and sincerely believed the truth about His second coming.
Glory to God!
Blessed Faithful Preaching I thank God for leading me to this faithful sermon series, full of insights that I never saw before, and corrections that I need. Lord, let me not be follow Lot's path of spiritual decline!
How blessed to hear the truth preached This is faithful preaching, and how good to hear these things and to be reminded of God's sovereignty in provision of all things, and His purpose is to teach of ourselves and Him.
Thank you for this sermon.
NO NEED TO PANIC !! This is the best sermon that I have ever heard preached on the Red Sea crossing. How often do we find our back against the wall and we try in our own strength to swim across the Red Sea rather than wait on God to part the waters for us! When it seems to God's people that He is tarrying, God is, in fact, working their deliverance. It is ALWAYS wise to "fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of The Lord." May every child of God today take much encouragement from knowing that God didn't deliver His People from Egyptian slavery only to drown them when they were cornered.
Hear this! "Be astonished, oh ye heavens"! Is this not where the saying, "Good heavens!" comes from? It is a lost phrase of public pronouncement to awaken the sleepy to astonishment, calling heaven itself to witness what is presently transpiring, and considered acceptable in society, particularly among Christian professors. Good heavens--it is time for Christians to examine themselves, and wake up to their "departure from God". Israel was asleep in sin and corruption, yea, "the pastors also transgressed against me", says this text.
We should be appalled and shudder with horror!!!!! Andrew Foster's analysis of God's instruction to Jeremiah on how he should react to a society abandoning the true God has great relevance for us today. Most Christians do not react the way God instructs Jeremiah but we need to. Please listen and share this important message with others.
