Encouraging Sermon! We can share the joy and strength that the Apostles felt when they were with Jesus Christ for the last time. His words of encouragement that they should go and preach the Gospel worldwide was filled with Christ's love as He was taken up to His Father, and the Apostles watched it happen with sadness and with joy. A sight they would always remember as they started on their journey for Jesus.
Great Sermon! My husband and I also, for a time, had reversed roles where I was the main bread winner. We were the least happy with our marriage during that time. God's order of things is best! Always! Prayer resolved the matter. I prayed, asking the Lord to make it possible for me to stay home with our kids, and He answered my prayer! It saved our marriage and our kids. We all, as a.family, serve in our church, and God has blessed our home and church abundantly! Keep preaching the truth of God's Word. Til the trumpet sounds, keep on!
Great Sermon! The fault lies not with just individuals who haven't accepted Jesus of Nazareth as their personal savior, or even those who have but live their lives as if they never heard of him. No my friends, a portion of the fault lies with the fallen state of the Church. Pastors who no longer proclaim the sovereignty of Christ, and/or refuse to declare His rules for life share an equal portion of the blame for tempting the wrath of Him.
