Jefferds, I have been wanting to listen to this sermon since you referenced it in our sessions. I did not take a course this semester since systematic theology was not offered. I miss our conversations, and still can't tell you how much I appreciated you working with me. Rick Jefferds 4 comments “ Great Sermon! ” Good Message - It takes courage to preach the truth and challenge man's sentimental ideas about God, especally on one of the most popular and misunderstood verses in the Bible. This is the first sermon that I have taken the time to listen to that puts John 3:16 in its proper context. Our culture and many within evangelicalism today don't want to accept the truth of a definite atonement.
