“ Great Sermon! ” Dear Pastor, Thank you for preaching this sermon. I am a missionary in Nigeria (thank God for the internet). I too had to repent for being careless with the prophetic anointing upon me. Elders come to 'sit down' in my office to discuss 'things of the kngdom'. It is easy to ignore the signal of the Holy Spirit to stop the meeting. We all like 'elders'. They look so useful in the church.
I also made mistakes when I lowered the standard of God in my life and I wanted to be an evangelist (increase the numbers in my church) when God called me to be His prophet (reduce them). When I wanted numbers, these 'Ezekiel 14' elders multiplied in the church. I thank you for making the connection with the elders in James 5:14. I tried to immagine a very sick man calling them to pray over him. They are like doctors whose licence has been revoked but still practicing. They are deadly.
