I thought you gave a lot of historical background which was well presented: dealing with the prophets and relating them to the coming of Jesus is an important scriptural task for all ministers.

Well said that if humans cannot thrive on the top of America's highest mountain, how much more must this be said of heaven, the holy of holies. But through union with the crucified and risen Christ we are fit to appear with Him in His ascension.

Should the wedding vow be changed to this: "For better or for worse until adultery, abandonment, abuse or death do us part"? If a pastor presents a permanent (traditional) vow but believes that marriage should be impermanent, is he sharing the whole truth with a marrying couple? Thank you.
