Great Sermon! Great sermon how cad divorce be okay when it tears Gods marital plan asunder. How many have fallen for another of the great deceivers lies. This message needs to be heard in every church house.
Great Sermon! I was looking for some incite on Acts 16 when I came upon your sermon. I'm going to substitute for our preacher in July while he's on vacation. Your sermon will have a very profound impact on the message I will deliver, thank you.
Great Sermon! I really appreciate the solid Biblical truth of this sermon without apology. Never mind being politically correct. Thank you also for pointing out the true role of women (I Tim. 5:14) minus the obligatory comments about God calling some women to be single, what if I never find a husband, etc.
Must listen Its a must listen for those confident in their faith. In this Sermon to his flock some very strong language is used against professing Christians of several denominations. With the harshest rebuke to those 'dirty hypocrites' in his own.
It appeals more to the flesh than the spirit, but that might account for the 5000+ downloads
By Gods Grace The Lord did nourish me with a worthy Sermon at my Church prior to listening to the conclusion of this message. Nevertheless, this is out there, and we all need to be aware of it.
Great Sermon! We need to go back to the 1st century church and the Bible rather than the reformation. As was stated, what was followed before these creeds were written? Calvinism is a new doctrine since it does not go back to the Bible. Having been in the Reformed movement in the past, I think there is a lot of nominal "Christianity" in the Reformed movement.
Great Sermon! I respectfully disagree with all who say that there are no more flaming pulpits left in America. Brother Modene's uncompromised preaching is one of several examples here on sermonaudio. I strongly agree that America is now a "Magormissabib" because of her constant disregard for God and His Word.
'God's Word is Truth' Brother Modene,
I listened to your message about "The Plague of Pornography in America" on April 16,2012. Thank you for boldly, unashamedly proclaming the truth about God's word, that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Many pastor's of so called christian churches will not preach against pornography and other sins according to God's word because they are either committing or condoning the very sins that they refuse to preach about.
Great Sermon! This sermon may be a couple of years old, but it hits home like few I have ever heard as regards our life and times and the sorry, sorry state of this world. Pastor Modene may sound a bit harsh at times - but he is scriptural before anything else, imho, this is an absolute must hear !
Discernment is a Gift from God This sermon paints with very wide brush strokes the point that the listener may struggle at discerning the linkeage between the seeker-sensitive movement mentioned in the sermon as well as the reformed Baptists. Certainly the two group are light years apart. So then one senses that everyone is the target.
Great Sermon! The gospel is not just believe Christ for the forgiveness of sins! But that Christ was crucified to be the propitiation(legal debtor or surity) for our sins, lead captivity captive an reigns as Lord! Salvation is bowing the knee to Christ and offering ones body, affections, and mind, as an offering to Him!
Thank God for Truth Tellers! I praise the Lord for courageous elders such as Bro. Modene who preach the "hard sayings" of Scripture without apology. Would to God we had more such as him. I recently had to leave a church over this very issue because of their refusal to see and abide by the truth of God's Word. Be encouraged and preach on, Bro. Modene!
Great Sermon! This is a fabulous inspired sermon. Thank you David. Was looking for information to preach at my churches Music Day. It is indeed now a challenge for me to live in the knowledge, but all things arepossible through His grace. I guess Reggae and Soul have the same sensual effects? God bless you always. I might use much of your information, if that's ok.
