“ Great overview of all NT texts and translations ”
This gives a very helpful overview of the origins and validity of the different texts from which the English translations are taken. Well worth a listen if you are confused by the militant KJV onlyism and the arguments used by proponents of this view.

“ Fair and balanced overview of KJO errors! ”
Imperfect, but common sense analysis of the folly of making ANY translation by human beings equal with the inspiration of the original writers. No translation of the Bible is perfect, primarily because of the difficulties of translating Greek to English, the primary fault lying in the limitations of the English language. The Authorized Version is not perfect, but neither is any other translation, pre-or-post 1611 AD. I thoroughly recommend the KJV along with the NASB and the NLT and God's Word. The KJV translators scoffed at the idea, in the preface, that anyone should assume their work was perfect and recommended a multiplicity of translations, which the KJV was derived from!

Erasmus' Textual Work

“ Wonderful Sermon - Satisfies Mind & Spirit! ”
What a blessing it has been to come across the work and preaching of Pastor Harold Chase! This entire series on "Textual Criticism" is superb. The scholarship presented is only matched by Pastor Chase's Spirit to please the Lord and his congregations with what are undeniable truths about our sacred Gospel. Although this sermon on Erasmus is my favorite, as I stated earlier, any of the messages in Harold Chase's "Textual Criticism" series will bring blessings to all who hear them. -BMS

“ 3rd day of my Sermonaudio odyssey ”
Dear brother Chase,i am on an odyssey of listening to a sermon from each book of the Bible chronologically daily,by a speaker i have not heard before, randomly chosen. Bless you and thankyou for the beautiful thoughts from this portion of Scripture in Leviticus, and how it relates to the Lord Jesus Christ. I am really getting a blessing from this odyssey, and being edified, enlightened, encouraged and challenged. Bless you and thankyou.

“ Absolute must listen-fair material on KJV debate! ”
This is a rare look at the KJV-only position which doesn't try to hide the facts that are readily available for anyone who takes a fair look at the issue. I'm bothered, too, by the fact that people think God would use a SDA, and a group of people who misrepresented and edited his work, to preserve the Bible. I have just found a copy of Which Bible? but haven't had time to read it yet. Most of it is a reprint (edited) of the Seventh-Day Adventist Benjamin Wilkinson's book. The original book is available online. I encourage anyone who has a concern about this issue to check out the facts for themselves.

Whole series on Dispensationalism which, by God's grace, gives an understanding to what is plainly false teaching and dangerous doctrine. If you are mixed up by such then here is an excellent place to begin!

“ A True Blessing ”
Well considered and researched. The counsel of Scripture meets with the witness of history to produce a thought -provoking and controversial teaching on the modern practice of Easter. Thank you, Pastor Chase for taking such a strong stand for righteousness! Anyone interested in the regulative principle of worship will find this study indispensable.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Pastor, This series has been a great blessing to me personally and to my family as well. The clear sighted exegesis of Hebrews 11 within this sermon in particular was enlightening. How interesting that the same faith was present within the lives of the antediluvian elders, the Hebrew patriarchs, and in the judges, kings, and prophets of old Israel, as well as the New Testament saints. What an encouragement to know that salvation has always been and ever will be sola gratia, sola fide, soli Deo gloria!

“ What a blessing! ”
I tuned into DOGRIR (http://www.dogrir.org) and this was the sermon playing. The truth of this sermon is so evident in my life now. Where once the Lord's Day was a day of work, now it is sitting at the master's feet. The more needful thing is so restful! Thanks for this sermon.

What a joy to hear of the grace that an earthly king in all his splendor shewed to the self-described 'dead dog' Mephibosheth. What a beautiful picture of the work of Christ and all the benifits with which He has loaded us!

“ Great Series! ”
Thank you for sharing the truth of the background of the pagan/papist tradition of Christ-Mass. There are very few who will put aside the traditions of men and religion to truly honor Christ. Your series was very informative and revealed so many of the falicies of what are consider to be of the Lord, but are really lies of the devil. May the Lord Bless you!
