Listening to this message my eyes were open to an argument against the NPP. The context in Psalm 32 is not about membership in the church, but it is sin, individual sin. And God is doing something, forgiving sin, as basis of our entering in covenant with Him. Paul quotes Psalm 32 in Romans 4 and states that this non-imputation of sin is justification.
