“ Great Vindicating Sermon! ”
I voted Constitution Party and was castigated by Christians who I thought were my friends. I was even told by one that "I deserve 4 more years of Obama." I refused to vote for both heathens and I was even unfriended on Facebook by one Christian friend. The normal complaint was that if you vote third party, then it is a vote for Obama. No it isn't, it was a vote for a Christian man who reflected biblical principles. I wonder if those who castigated me for voting Constitution Party run their lives in the same manner they vote. Christians refuse to do any investigation and studies on their own. The term "sheeple" belong to many Christians because of their apathy. Thank you for this great sermon because it vindicates those of us who did not follow Fox news or those who "think" they are Christian leaders like John MacArthur. To those Christians who vote for the lesser of two evils WAKE UP! Where do we read in Scripture that we are to pray that God places a Christ hating heathen to rule over us? There needs to be a mass repentance on the part of all Christians who voted for Romney or Obama. Maybe God is judging this nation because of the apathy of His children and that is why we have an evil leader.

“ Great Sermon Series! ”
I've listened to both parts and found this series to be fascinating! I've long admired Pastor Trewhella's pro-life activism, but didn't realize he also has a love of Church History (which is really His-Story)and a true gift for relating the information to others in a style that's easy to follow and understand. I look forward to hearing and learning more! May the good Lord bless Pastor Trewhella and his ministry.

“ Common Sense may say otherwise! ”
In the interest of "edifying" and an encouragement to test the spirits for truth, I present this common sense perspective. - Luke 21:37 “And in the day he was teaching in the temple: and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.” Matthew 24:3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Here, now much later in the day, in private, Jesus lays out to his disciples an overview, a tapestry if you will of signs and things to come and what leads up to the end. This is an overview of the Christian era. History confirms we have seen and heard of wars and rumors of wars; likewise we have seen nations and kingdoms rise against one another as well as famines, pestilences and earthquakes in divers places throughout the past 1,900 years - common sense tells us Jesus foretold of the Christian era and it just simply can not pertain to a mere 70 year period. What was said earlier in the day was a different time and place – the destruction of the temple has nothing to do with what transpires and is said in the evening, on the mount of olives, a half days walk from the temple, later in th

“ Corroborative Quotes for Great Sermon ”
For avoiding irrelevant distractions, from Matthew 4: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’

“ 3- Corroborative Quotes for Great Sermon! ”
Socrates: “Whom do I call educated? First, those who manage well the circumstances they encounter day by day. Next, those who are decent and honorable in their dealings with all men, bearing easily and good naturedly what is offensive in others and being as agreeable and reasonable to their associates as is humanly possible to be... those who hold their pleasures always under control and are not ultimately overcome by their misfortunes... those who are not spoiled by their successes, who do not desert their true selves but hold their ground steadfastly as wise and sober -- minded men.”

“ 1- Historical Corroborations for Great Sermon! ”
This sermon contains a lot of common sense that most people should easily understand, but for some the plain truth needs repeating. These and related concepts have been amply validated through the centuries: Proverbs 6:22 "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Thomas Jefferson: "It is better to tolerate that rare instance of a parent’s refusing to let his child be educated, than to shock the common feelings by a forcible transportation and education of the infant against the will of his father." Socrates: "The goal of life is to be like God, and the soul following God will be like Him." Socrates: “One who is injured ought not to return the injury, for on no account can it be right to do an injustice; and it is not right to return an injury, or to do evil to any man, however much we have suffered from him.” Socrates: “To need nothing is divine, and the less a man needs the nearer does he approach to divinity.” Socrates: "It is not living that matters, but living rightly." Socrates: "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." Socrates: "Wisdom begins in wonder."

Especially telling is the part where this sermon describes how a colonial soldier was tied up in a sack and drowned in a river for the charge of sodomy, which the pastor follows up by hungrily commenting, "Boy, those must have been glorious days to live in!"

“ Common Sense ”
An early operational goal of the aspiring dictators, and of their mass media flunkies, is to dumb down the population-- so that the cultivated suckers ultimately accept their own enslavement without even realizing it is happening. A key tactic seen over and over is to offer bait today, and distract the suckers from noticing the trap they will encounter tomorrow. That's why they push easy enjoyments of right now while discounting the actual results. Once people are maneuvered into foolishly destroying their own families, they become ever more isolated, lost, and easy to steer around by the nose in any and all other scams, according to what Big Brother wants for increasing their dependency on the growing dictatorship. Instead of a lineage, they leave behind only their own dust. Apes and cavemen relied on teen-age alientation from parents to scatter the species around and not overgraze the area near the home stomping grounds. With the appearance of agriculture and civilization, intelligent humans learned the advantages of children staying close and learning from the previous generation, where there was now abundant food. Those who were thus successful wrote what they learned into the Bible, but degenerates have forgotten the lessons of the past and slipped down the easy ignor

“ Great Sermon! ”
I also was bullied severely as a grade schooler by a black kid 2 yrs older than me in my class who had been held back 2 years in school. I can relate to Pastor Trewella's comments with personal experience. Getting the proper foundation for the fight is rest of his message. And "Christians" for me are SOOOOOOO discouraging.
