Great Sermon! I struggle with this issue, I wish there were more resources on this. It is painful to see animals suffer. We take care of many street cats. Me and my family spend lots of effort and money because we can not simply let them suffer and die. There must be a balance. Again, I wish there were more resources on this. |

Problem David Barton has many problems and can not be trusted as he is close friends with Glen beck, a new age Mormon, and calls him a Christian. Barton also loves to be on Tbn and believes Kenneth Copeland and other Word Faith teachers are Christian. Very disturbing! |

Great Sermon! Spurgeon once said that "Complicity with error will take from the best of men the power to enter into any successful protest against it." No matter how one rationalizes that this document is not fundamentally a theological statement (something that Chuck Colson himself denies), it loudly proclaims "Christian" brotherhood with those who bring another gospel. I saw Al Mohler making a statement against Romanism on the Larry King show before the unveiling of this document. I wonder how much weight a statement like that coming from him (or any of the signers of the M.D.) now carries. So sad to see how year by year so many are being pulled down into this ecumenical whirlpool. God save us from the ecclesiastical compromise of our day and graciously grant us revival. |

Judges is right "If your Papist annoys you with the word (alone), tell him straightway, Dr. Martin Luther will have it so: Papist and ass are one and the same thing. Whoever will not have my translation, let him give it the go-by: the devil's thanks to him who censures it without my will and knowledge. Luther will have it so, and he is a doctor above all the doctors in Popedom." Luther broadcast 16th Century weed seeds of total autonomy which are sprouting in our day (e.g., divorce, remarriage, adultery, abortifacients, fornication, abortion, female preachers, homosexuality and eventually, polygamy). Antinomians fill almost every pew and pulpit. They're not listening to Bible, creed or confession. "And everyone did what was right in his own eyes." Though Christ was head of His OT people, Israel, they had judges and kings. Christianity should listen to the book of Judges and find a righteous earthly leader. Excellent dialogue. |

Helpful, but... This is a helpful discussion. Scott Brown is certainly on to something. Yes, my fear is this: have we forgotten that are Already Gone from the womb. Do we need to teach creation? Yes. Do we need to stress the centrality of the home and especially the father? Yes. But let us not forget the need for a solid conversion to God. Let us stress the marks of true and saving religion. Let us preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. For ultimately speaking, children leave the church because they are unconverted. This I fear is an overlooked fact. |

Excellent Because there are counterfeit gospels and thus much uncertainty regarding the Gospel definition, doesn't the Nicene Creed, the universal Gospel in a nutshell for over 1,600 years, remain the Gospel summary? [Ref. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicene_Creed] How could one be considered a Christian and disagree with it? Since no Reformation creed has supplanted it, isn't the Nicene Creed, the Gospel summary? Thank you! |

No Unpardonable Sin? If there's no unpardonable sin, then how could a Gay Christian lose his salvation? We know several baptized Christians who are fornicating or engaged in adultery, yet aren't these sins classified as already pardoned? If this is incorrect, does the classical doctrine that there is no unpardonable sin need review and update? Great show Pastor Boling! |
