Powerful Sermon! Sin and temptation are with us always and we need to know how to fight it. This message gives us excellent ways to stay in the Will of God and not give in to our flesh, but all coming from God and not from ourself.
Great Sermon! I loved this message!! It was easily explained and with your pdf to follow along made it all the better!! I even posted it on my facebook page to share with others!! Thanks. Vincent in Boise, ID.
Great Sermon! That's the first time I ever heard a sermon on the total depravity of man.
I did however, read a book on that topic once written by A. W. Pink.
I really enjoyed the sermon and I look forward to the entire sermon series.
I feel like I learned a lot. And I like the fact that they are written out as well.
I'm glad I discovered Joe Tolin, Jr.
Sermons like these are very hard to find.
Great Sermon! This was superb. Such conviction and courage should put us all to shame. I know it does me. It also humbles me even more in gratefulness for His mercy of delivering me from Rome about 30 yrs ago and in His grace brought me to the knowledge of reforming about 15 yrs ago. How I wish there was a reformed church in my area. Thank you for choosing this dear sister of sterling faith and courage for last year's Reformation Sunday.
Great Sermon! I sat on the edge of my chair listening to this message about Anne Askew. It was terribly convicting. What a woman of faith.
I've been sick this week so I have had plenty of time to listen to sermons by Joe Tolin. Very powerful messages. There are not many Pastors that preach so fearlessly, at least not near where I live.
Need Help I'm only into lecture 2 and I'm so thrilled to have found this course. One thing is needed with this lecture however: a PDF of Joe's diagram. I am just learning this, and hearing his instruction on how to diagram is nice, but anyone with a serious desire to understand what he's doing will need to see what it would look like as well! Blessings
Great Sermon! I've always thought worship services were for believers only, and that honestly, non-Christians had no obligation to b at church on Sunday. I loved the point that God commands ALL people to obey him, therefore setting aside the Sabbath should be mandatory for Christian and pagan alike... And that by bringing non-believers into a church service that is preaching the Word, (not geared towards conforming to the world to be appealing) it can convict people and bring them into repentance and faith. Loved this sermon.
Great Sermon! Listened to all 3 sermons to date by Bro. Tolin regarding the Fourth Commandment in one night! Made my night at work a blessed one. Was greatly encouraged, and challenged, to keep the Lords Day holy, and wholly unto the Lord of the Sabbath! I recommend anyone who cherishes the Lords Day to listen to this series. I will now begin to listen to this entire series on the Ten Commandments.
Great Sermon! Thanks for stating the historical facts. The Roman church teaches another gospel, one based on man and his teaching and traditions. My Catholic friends love to state, traditions are equal to the word of God. No logic in this argument, based on the fact their traditions have changed many times.
Last thought, Catholics would love to have us believe, there can be two gospels, theirs and the words of Jesus, they both can not be correct.
Signed Steve the X catholic, and loving it.
