“ Interesting and Informative Testimonies ”
This was an always interesting program that was over all too quickly. I found especially interesting the former Latter-day Saint and her well-told testimony of becoming a Mormon and only slowly discovering disturbing teachings and the frustrating fact that LDS doctrine is a moving target based on whomever is the current "prophet." I did take exception to the blanket criticism of Pastor Greg Johnson and his ministry Standing Together, which brought Ravi Zacharias to the Mormon Tabernacle in 2004. I know firsthand that Johnson's is a strong ministry breaking down decades of mistrust and misinformation that Mormons and Evangelicals hold about one another. It is not touchy-feely ecumenism nor does it gloss over the great differences in our doctrines. One detail in the ex-Mormon's testimony that needs updating is that the so-called bloody oaths have been removed from the Temple ceremony. The former Catholic's testimony was inspiring, especially his coming upon that Gospel tract. May we each be inspired to faithfully spread the good news through word and through tracts. Thank you again for a thoughtful program, still being used by God over two years after its initial broadcast.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Pastor Ovadal, Remember, the majority of the attendees of this demonic activity have also been given over to secular education by their parents! Should we be surprised by their overtly subjective thinking? May God bless your efforts in speaking the truth to thousands of truly lost souls.

I always learn something new from Heart of the Matter, though they are things I don't like to know about! I had some vague ideas of the "Emerging Church" but not the idea of "prima scriptura" as opposed to the usual "sola scriptura" that I believe in. This helps me understand where people are coming from.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I know now that I am "born again" and a Reformed Protestant and a Presbyterian.I am an ex roman catholic. I question everything now because of my former catholic religion. I question because I am now a Protestant. I believe a constant theme of Catholicism was really to turn me and people away from Jesus Christ. It turns people instead to Mary, saints, an adoration of a wafer in a gold monstrance, (which I now see as blasphemous idolatry) a priest, traditions, popes, etc. I have renounced the roman catholic church and the papacy and all her corrupted teachings which are contrary to scripture. I was also appalled at the praises being heaped on Miss Prejean for "standing up" for marriage, so I took the opportunity to denounce her participation in such a worldly event on her college's website.

Thank you Pastor Ovadal! We were blessed by hearing your faithful proclamation of the truth in the face of a desperate silence by the Neo-Evangelicals. I wrote a letter to the editor with some of the same views and was lambasted! You are in our prayers. May the Lord keep you faithful!

Thank you, Pastor Ovadal for this important message. It is rare today for a preacher to take this biblical stance.

Excellent Biblical commentary on the nomination and candidacy of Sarah Palin for the GOP Vice President and the lack of Biblical response from well known "family" leaders. Thank you!

It does make you wonder whether these groups and many other people in churhes that hold special Passover services are seeking a higher way..didn't Paul say there was only one way--through Christ, that anyone who preached anything different should be accursed?
I have also been at a church service in Campeche Mexico that started with Israel's national anthem, had dances with the Israeli flag, and sang songs in Hebrew. I asked later if this was a special outreach to an Israeli community in the area and was told no, that it was a way to pay honor to the roots of our Christian faith!

Thank you so much for this special edition of HOM... The information (including the historical segment with Pastor Carson) presented is fascinating and something both Protestants and Catholics should hear. I pray listeners will boldly share this program with others.

“ Must hear for all Believers! ”
God bless Pastor Ovadal and Pastor Carson for their courage to speak out on the atrocities of the Roman-Catholic Ustashis in former Yougoslavia. Oh that every Christian in the world could hear this message. How could anyone hearing this, still believe that the Roman Catholic System is a Christian church? How could anyone learning about all the satanic evils of the Inquisition not believe that the church of Rome is indeed Babylon the Great, the Mother of harlots and ABOMINATIONS of the earth and that her Pontifex Maximus is the man of sin, the son of perdition, yes the very anti-christ prophesied in scripture? May God grant that the truth about the crimes of the church of Rome may reach unto the ends of the earth and that her false piously mask may once more be ripped from her ugly face.

“ Timely look at franchise movement ”
The conversation with Pastor Hamilton about the church franchise movement is timely. One of these just moved into my area. I'll add one thing that wasn't discussed: These franchises are heavily into multimedia and the web, and typically post all of their services on their web sites so the public can download and listen. An excellent way to check them out. Their doctrinal statements are normally vacuous and you can't tell what they believe because they're so generic. But if you listen to a sermon or two, you usually get a good idea of what they preach. (The one that moved into my area had a sermon where the speaker said Jesus took one for us on the cross like a real man. That told me everything I needed to know.) If the church does an exposition of a doctrinally important book like Romans or Ephesians, it's a good way to tell what they really believe. They are typically man-centered, and books that deal with the sovereignty of God make their theology come through clearly.

“ I agree ”
The voices against Romanism are getting fewer and fewer. Even the true believers seem to fall for the deceptions of the ecumenical movement. The church of Rome is only ecumenical in countries and areas where she is not in power. Once she takes control of a nation she will tolerate no competition. The re-catholicisation of Europe and the growing influence of the European Union go hand in hand and are a clear sign of the great end-time apostacy. May God bless your ministry and protect you against the enemies of Christ, so you may be able to continue to sound the alarm.

“ Enlightening talks ”
Listening to these people talk about their experiences with Mormonism and the Roman Catholic church and the errors they found in it is very helpful in understanding the great deceptions that are influencing millions of people who are searching for the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's sad that so many people are "lost" and don't know it. Praise Jesus and let His Word be preached worldwide before He comes again.
