Blessing! What a refreshing message to hear. Pastor Oesterwind deals with the plain meaning of the text of Scripture in Genesis 1. This is a blessing in an age that seeks to make Scripture say something other than what it does say. Thanks, Brother!
Great Sermon! And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. (I John 5:20 NKJV)
Great Sermon! Hi Dan, I am in agree with everything that you are teaching Christians about Contemporary music. I got saved at an Independent Baptist Church in Columbus Ohio, under the preaching of a great man of God, Dr. William Dinoff on Jan 14th 1972. I too loved to sing in my elementary schools and High schools and always had a dream to sing somewhere in my life time. My family were singers also, but not Christian singers. My grandfather was a barber shop quartet singer. We always sang as children and loved it. When I became a teenager, I loved to sing with the Supremes and many other girl soul singing groups in the 1960's. I had even tried out for a group that traveled called the Americans. Anyways, I never got chosen to sing in any special groups of do any solos for school. My grades were not that good and of course, I did not get picked. Anyways, I feel that the Lord Jesus had a place for me in His Service. After I got saved I joined the church choir and then later sing in duets with an other lady then in trios and eventually in my late 40's and 50's early 60's became a choir director in a small church for 19 years. There were 35/40 people at one time. After 19 years of service the main pastor left the church & I felt the Lord Jesus calling me back to the church where I got saved.
