Great Sermon! Peter Hammond, I agree with you but David Barton of WallBuilders said dropping the A-bombs was the moral thing to do and gave his reasons why he think so. Here is his article "Hiroshima, Obama, and American Morals" http://www.wallbuilders.com/LIBissuesArticles.asp?id=182245
Great Sermon! Just want to say thank you for this and for all you do for God's animals....and thank you for the prayers as well for them....hope to see you soon at the next animal march. ..God bless you for loving His animals......
Great Sermon! Thank you for very clear teaching. I have read a lot on the subject, but I had never heard any teaching about the perspective of reformation leaders, Luther and others. I also appreciate your insights from biblical prophecy. It is refreshing to hear a minister who is taking a stand.
Highly Instructive Survey The Bible Surveys are invaluable, much better than reading an outline first because Dr Hammond brings in years of experience as both an evangelist and a church historian, adding much relevance to our current times.
The living Word Thanks for pointing out that there is nothing better than to give someone a Bible and to teach the pastors how to use it. Hearing a message from someone who read the Bible is almost like hearsay which is not far from heresy. When we pray we speak to God, when we read the Bible God speaks to us. Thanks for a great sermon.
Excellent! I have learned so much about real history from your wonderful teachings. Thank you so much for this tremendous series. "Why do we have wars? Because we are ruled by an elite group of psychopaths, who own the banks that control the governments and the media. They fund both sides of the war all profit and manufacture the consent of the public through the propaganda of the media." Thank you Dr. Hammond for being a voice of truth in an age of overwhelming deception.
Great Sermon! Excellent lesson! There is an anti-animal position in the church, and there is what I consider to be human worship instead where the teaching is essentially 'God only cares about humans and animals are not eternal. If churches truly worship the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, then they will accept all of what the Word teaches about animals. I've been speaking up for animals to mostly deaf ears in the church. It is refreshing to hear a great man like Dr. Hammond passionately saying much of what I have been saying, and I've learned even more points from this lesson.
Great Sermon! I am a doctor that qualified in Pretoria in the old South Africa. In those days in South Africa we didn't use the oath of Hippocrates because of the pagan nature of the thing. It starts of by "I swear by Apollo the physician, and Aesculapius the surgeon, likewise Hygeia and Panacea, and call all the gods and goddesses to witness, ... "
Great Sermon! We are always grateful when high profile characters such as the president make ill-informed comments about the Crusades and Inquisition. It provides an excellent opportunity for education and Evangelism.
It would seem that the humanists never allow the facts to get in the way of a good story.
Great Sermon! Thank you for this tremendous summary of Genesis filled with truth and wisdom and knowledge... Everyone should listen to this sermon so they can have a firm foundation for their faith. Thank you!
Outstanding! I couldn't take notes fast enough. Excellent examples from history. The ones calling themselves victims have become the bullies. Anyone who thinks this is a live and let live issue needs to hear this sermon. This is critical mass and Pastor Hammond lays it on the line. Thank you!
About time someone said it! Words can't express my gratitude for this sermon. This sermon is so extremely important. It grieves me everyday when I see what mankind has done to this beautiful world. It consoles me greatly to hear what I have always believed of God - that He will save His creation and that we'll all be in fellowship and worshipping God together in the new Heaven and new earth. This mends a heart that breaks daily over the violence of mankind.
Great Sermon! Just finished listening to this while the rest of America is lauding MLK. You've reminded me of what I learned as a child in the 50’s and 60's concerning the signs of the times. Being raised in a thoughtful Christian household where dinner discussions centered around religion and history, this message was like going back in time. You've succinctly covered MLK's life appropriately with conviction. Indeed, the truth will make us free.
