Great Sermon! Thank you for putting your sermons on SermonAudio. We are being blessed by your preaching and rejoice in your use of the Catechism. Regretfully, there isn't a Psalm singing Reformed church in the Lehigh Valley.
Great Sermon! Excellent message. We are so prone to see conversion through our North American eyes. God is far more able to change hearts in His perfect way than in our trifling set ways of "conversion".
Great Sermon! In a day of so many mixed messages, it was as a drink of cool water to a thirsty soul to listen intently as the Father and the Son were exalted and man made to view himself in the mirror of the word. Yet hope was offered because he encouraged all his hearers to enter our closet and shut the door from public view because the Father desired us to and the Son has enabled us to be reconciled in order that we may come boldly to the throne of grace. Heb.4:16
But why does the speaker have a strong Dutch accent in this message but not in two other messages that I later listened to ???
Great love of God. The love of God in Christ as revealed in this message moved me to tears, blessed tears! What a Creator and what a love - so that this Majestic Creator to come down to Earth and to die for me so that He could receive me in His eternal dwelling place. He wanted ME to stay with Him for ever and for that He accepted even to die for my sins! This is almost unbelievable!
This sermon was blessed to my soul at a time of much confusion. The very words I have asked - Do I believe on the Son of God - am I truly weaned from my big self? What is it to truly believe on Him? How I wept during this sermon to Him to give me true faith in Him. Thank you for giving this opportunity to hear when I was home sick and please continue to tell sinners of a willing savior - I need to hear it over and over again.
