Great Sermon! Thank you for this message, I liked the application of Dagon to our modern day with money, fame, pleasure. Thank you again!
PS - I think the reference text should be 1 Samuel 5 not 23.
I wept One of the greatest blessings of being broken is that it enables you to be healed. If you are going through a time of great darkness, understand that God is opening your heart to receive a deeper knowledge of His mercy and love than you ever thought possible. This sermon was an act of God's healing for me.

Great Sermon! I am thoroughly enjoying listening to the Luke series from First Presbyterian Church. It has been such a blessing. Mr. Duncan is a gifted preacher and I have benefitted greatly from his sermons. Thanks so much for sharing these with us on Sermonaudio.
Great Sermon! As I was looking for a resource for my son's writing assignment, I stumbled into this recording. It is a great blessing to have Mr. Duncan deliver God's Word on self-denial. Just what my soul needs.
Great Sermon! Thank you for making these messages available, I so want to understand this truth. I wonder on the issue of lying for a "noble purpose"ie, Rahab does this statement apply, " you don't have a moral obligation to tell the truth to whom it is not due, ie "tell a theif where the valuables are" ? your ministey is a blessing thank you again.
