He also is quite witty which makes him enjoyable to listen to. My only complaint is that he has only a couple of sermons on this site. Please post some more on Pastor John! Or can someone contact him and ask him. It cut's to the chase. Ray's book and his website are great for those who would like to learn how to evangelise effectevily. No true teaching there. We have been starved for the true teachings of Jesus. A friend sent this site to us so we get to hear SOME good preachers. There are still false preachers on this site we have heard a few so far. We just turn them off as we turned off the false preachers in our home town. Hope to listen to more of your preaching. We listen very closely to every word as we are grounded in the Scripture. If you continue in the truth your listening audience will become more and more few. Pastor John MacArthur 10 comments “ Outstanding!! ” I found this sermon to be excellent. I can best descrtibe it as the meaty version of Paul Washer's "Examine Yourself" message. Both are excellent. and cut to heart of our watered down, coin tossing, DIY, Christianity of today. We are held to such a high standard by God. Not in a works way, but in a way that earnestly desires to seek after God with all of our being. We were not made to be church bench-warmers, but to live in self-denial and self-sacrifice. We are to present our bodies a living sacrifice to God daily. Only the few willing the make the committment to entrust all to Christ and forsake all for Him will travel that narrow road. It is not the broad road of self made religion, but the way Christ Jesus has provided; but you must forsake all to follow Him.
