Great Sermon! This is absolute gem of a sermon on persevering grace. I have heard many sermons on this text, and this is by far the best one yet!!! Pastor Tim does an excellent job of exposing the truth of Gods Word. In this sermon he positionally puts finite man in his place while elevating God, and showing His spiritual blessings to those he predestined. The flock was fed!!!
Great Sermon! Matt 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
Stunningly Outstanding Outstanding.
Over the past few years I've been impressed by the quality of sermons presented on sermonaudio.com. You really do have a lot of the quality descerning men of God in America who know truth and how to present it.
Your sermon is one of these. Uplifting to the enth. But more importantly investigative of bible truth. Brilliant. You had me on my toes all the way throughout (was it meant to be like that! !!!!!). Well done pastor.
The most relevant message of our time and best ex Greatest pastor in the Midwest. Don't expect to have "your ears tickled". Paster Juhnke is consistantly serving the meat of the Word in portions I have never experienced in 72 years.
Great Sermon! I teach an adult class at our church, and in teaching through the Old Testament about Esau and Jacob, I hit
this head on. I was challenged by some in the class and, as you preached, simply had to say, "This is who God is." The question is "How else can these verses be interpreted?" In spite of our human objections, the truth is clear. One other thing this truth does is give the preacher (messenger) the freedom to preach and teach Jesus and leave the results up to God. Thanks for the message.
Thanks, pastor Tim! We so appreciate the faithfulness FCC to the truth of God's Word! Praise God for His infinite grace and mercy in Christ, the Lord! The reality of hell is one of the driving reasons we preach the gospel here in Italy. May God further push us to new boldness in proclaiming His good news! Love you all!
Great Sermon! It is often true that the most terrifying thoughts strike us overnight. i get zapped mostly in the early morning as i awaken. The worst thing we can do is to try to drown out these worries with radio or TV news or other distractions. The best approach is to go straight to the LORD in prayer and meditate on His Word--A.S.A.P.
Good reading I was blessed by this sermon. It was clearly read, yet it was not dry in its reading. I do believe that every man should hear or read this sermon if for no other reason than to see how great our salvation is!
Good Sermon! Mr. Juhnke is a good speaker! I commend him for criticizing the unbiblical worldview that is produced by his own premillenial eschatological system. He does not defend his eschatology from Scripture, but merely takes it for granted as the correct view. However, he takes to task the pessimistic "separatism" that is rampant among premillenialists. Spot on!
Great Sermon! I was in attendance at Faith Community on 2/4/07 when Pastor Juhnke preached this message. I'm a 52 year old man and I set there with tears streaming down my face the entire sermon. Pastor Juhnke did an absolutely marvelous job of explaining what has got to be the the most perplexing of paradoxes in the universe. How can a just God overlook our sins and still be our justifier???? It's an unbelievable predicament with an equally unbelievable answer. I wanted to stand and shout hallelujah!! The textual references were as usual highly illuminating and solidly in context. Pastor Juhnke is a gifte teacher and expositor who never fails to exalt the Lord. I thank God for His mercy in leading me and my wife to Faith Community.
