“ Great Sermon! ”
Why, why is it so hard to find a sermon like this that really pricks men's heart? This is instant out of season, and certainly appropriate for this apostate age. Thanks!

“ Challenging sermon! ”
Biblically faithful message on standing firm against compromise e.g.exposing Billy Graham's serious error in compromising the true Gospel by his association with Roman Catholic's false gospel.

This is a message that should be heard today. God loves the world. He loves little babies as well. We are to value life and the unborn are life.

“ FREE VIDEO on the INQUISITION ”
This is a very revealing message from former Roman Catholic priest (of 22 years). Another good resource by Richard Bennett, is the FREE VIDEO, "The Catholic Inquisition and The Tools of Torture" at http://snipurl.com/1o8g9. About this video it is noted, "Because of the continued interest and requests for our Inquisition video, we again post it as our main streaming video. We have had constant questions regarding the number of people who suffered under the Inquisition, so we give here some historical sources. Firstly, from John Dowling's The History of Romanism, Book 8, Ch. 1, pp. 542, 543, 'From the birth of Popery in 600, to the present time, it is estimated by careful and credible historians, that more than FIFTY MILLION of the human family have been slaughtered for the crime of heresy by popish persecutors, an average of more than forty thousand religious murders for every year of the existence of Popery.' The main credible historians on the Inquisition, besides Dowling himself are Lea, Vancandard, Maycock, Coulton, and Turberville...The torture chambers of the Inquisition lasted 605 years and were found throughout the nations controlled by Rome... http://www.bereanbeacon.org/

Gambling Is A Bad Bet!
Dr. David L. Brown

“ Good Sermon ”
This sermon presents sound Scriptural arguments against gambling. It is useful if one wants to know why gambling is incompatible with Christianity. However, the speaker does not consider stock market trading as being gambling. Anyone with an elementary understanding of how the market operates would have to concede that it is a form of gambling, eventhough it is technically described as being "investing." Apart from this one inconsistancy, the sermon is very useful.

“ Thank you !!! from two purpose-driven refugees! ”
Thank you for exposing the false teaching of the popular church growth proponents. Rick Warren is just the latest and most popular flavor of this vain philosophy of man. Thank you for remaining true to our Lord and preaching the truth 'in season and out of season.'

“ Excellent Historical Sermon! ”
Every Baptist should listen to this sermon. Bro. Faggart tells the stories of early great American Baptist preachers such as John Clarke, Obadiah Holmes, John Leland, John Ireland, Shubal Stearns, Valentine Wightman and others. He also tells of the influence George Whitfield had on the Baptists. The faithfulness of these men is inspiring. Their lives and ministries need to be rediscovered by modern Baptists.

“ Thought provoking sermon. ”
It was biblically sound sermon and I really liked it. Pastor Brown urges us to make moral judgements boldly. I do agree. But he mentions that he would also not trust NIV Bible because it had two people of homosexual orientations in its editorial team. I would humbly ask Pastor Brown should we also trash the role of Esther and Rohab in God's bigger, holy plans because they were a pagan king's harem woman and a prostitue respectively?

“ Answers for your Neighbors! Be ready! 1 Pet. 3:15 ”
Don't back down when people ask, 'what about the daVinci Code? ' Ask them if they have a canary, because lining for bird cages is about the only good use for this foolish fable. Great summary of the errors & blasphemous lies: clear outline of how to reply to people who have read the book, and who will soon be watching this rotten fable when Ron Howard's movie based on the book is released May 9th. The church needs to have this kind of clear overview of all the corruptions of history, art, and the Bible that are woven into a plausible sounding lie. 1 Pet. 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.."

WOW! I listened to this sermon about two months ago and have listened to it several times since. It is so simple and yet so directly on target. There is a spirtual battle going on. Dr. Brown does an excellent job communicating how to fight it. I wish every Christian could hear this message.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Great beginning for marriage. We must first define what our distinct positions are in the eyes of Christ, then we can understand what our distinct positions are in the marriage. A man out of position in a marriage, is not a huband, according to scripture. A wife in control, is a wife out of position, and the marriage is not according to God's written covenant for marriage. Thank you Dr. Brown for this series.

Today's Quote     Faith is the outstretched hand of the soul taking what Christ offers. ... S. M. Zwemer
