Great Sermon! Dear Pastor, Thank you for your wonderful message. The Word of God is new always. I felt the power in it thru your preaching. It touched my mind and also my heart. So encouraging to hear that the size of the 'land' is not important but what we do with it is; redeeming the time for the days are evil. God bless you, your family and church. In Christ alone, Lia Leigh.
Great Sermon! Another one I enjoyed today...thanks! Good insights on discipling and where the church is today as far as that goes. I pray we will all be more effective for the Gospel of Christ on a daily basis and that we will affect this world for HIM as we live before Him daily. God, help us to communicate the truth of Your Word and not be afraid of persecution!
Hey there, Pete - great sermon Pete- listened to this today - really enjoyed it. Good to hear your eval of the church in Amer concerning new believers and the lack of repentance being preached in altar calls today. We totally agree! Been reading Martin Lloyd-Jones (Kingdom of God) & Sproul's "Holiness of God"...Marvin & I discuss this stuff all the time...thanks for your obedience in teaching the Word!
Amen! This sermon was a real blessing to us as we have experienced so many churches over the past few years that are practicing 'concert-style'worship services. We applaud you at Christ the King for taking a stand on this issue - for going against the stream - and for stressing biblical accuracy as well as God-focus in your worship style. "It's not a concert".....we say it all the time....we must be bold to remind the church of this fact - "It's not about us" ....must be our motto as well. Thanks so much for the teachings in this sermon....excellent resource - we'll listen again & again....the Lord bless you all....
