Jesus' led of course In gratitude, to let me just politely express for your church ---- do not even begin to try and select anyone for qualifications, choices of God's plans usage, for we have not a clue. Thank you, brother, for an excellent exposition of this difficult passage. I appreciate the help. I'm working through this text myself, having taught through Isaiah over the last 15 months. Grace and peace to you and your flock. ~Keith

“ Clarification on C.S. Lewis ”
Although very much good can be found in the writings of C.S. Lewis, listeners ought to note that portions of his books are not all biblically clear or uniformly orthodox. Of course Christians ought to always read with discernment! Soli Deo Gloria

“ Clarification on "Fiction" writings ”
One listener links narnia with the occult? Sorry, friend, to disagree. There can be fiction (and imagination) that is consistent with a biblical worldview! (Consider the parables of Jesus -- works of fiction, if you will -- that most certainly conveyed a God-honoring world view). I do share the listener's disapproval of the Harry Potter writings (which intentionally blur distinctions betwen good and evil). I'd love to comment further via email. May the Lord grant us wisdom and fidelity to His Word. D. Bissett
