Great Sermon! I and my family are blessed immensely by this clear and simple teaching. I would love God willing to learn more on this teaching on the last things. Please get back to me. What a sovereign God He is.
THUNDER!!! Listening to Rob Zins message concerning the possible problem that we Protestants have with Romans 2 in terms of it's discussion of works, I sought out sermons on Romans 2. By God's leading I found this message by Rev. Williamson on Romans. I didn't even know this gentleman. But I do now. If you plan to listen to this, be prepared ahead of time to be ready to respond to God. I have to say I'm different, THUNDER!!! Thanks Lord for being patient with this sleepy sinner.
Outstanding exposition "Jesus suffered the silence for us, so that we might never have to."
I have always struggled with understanding this passage, but you have done an excellent job expositing it, and then an even better job applying it. This sermon was simply marvelous! Thank you!
Refutes False Arguments for Worship! Wow! This powerfully and surprisingly refutes myths and false popularized ideas that "there are other hymns in scripture outside the Psalms", which justifies will-worship in the use of uninspired "hymns" and non-scriptural songs or by saying "but we preach using our own words". Enough of such falsehoods and erroneous thinking. Let Sola Scripture be the reformed churches motto for WORSHIP as well as doctrine, lest we provoke a Jealous God to wrath with our "good intentions".
A Powerful Message to 'Reformed' Churches! This sober sermon is very troubling and proves the necessity of a modern reformation even more than when it was first preached. The respected Mr. Williamson's counsel, from a true Elder in this present age, should be heeded particularly by modern churches that claim to be "reformed", for he says plainly that they especially have not reformed! Following his logical exposition of Romans 1 he shows that the moral degradation of American society is a direct result of the *worse foundational sin of wrong and corrupted worship of God* (whose is still righteously Jealous), which can be laid at the feet of modern churches. This makes it plain that society will continue to collapse further into degradation until the churches repent of their corruptions and will-worship, which the 'New Calvinism' in particular refuses to consider.
Excellent Message! So great to hear someone speaking from the truths of the Bible and not just to tickle ears and increase their congregations and popularity. I cannot wait to listen to more of your messages.
Needed Subject! I have held this view for over 25 years. I have set in my Baptist Church listening and reading books on Dispensationalism, Pre-mill views as though there were no other arguments left in the Bible. It has been so obvious to me that these ideas need to be in the category of Biblical Fantasy and Fairytales. It is so refreshing to hear someone who is willing to honestly face these issues from the Bible. I wish that someone had refuted “The Late Great Planet Earth” many years ago. May God have mercy on our ignorant churches and congregations who seek after a lie.
Great Sermon! 50 Questions to Moslems,
they can not answer
1- Koran the holy book of Islam said that the Bible is true, but both books are contradictory, how can be both from the same God?
2- Most of the Koran is taken from the Bible, so why don’t Moslems believe in the Bible?
3- Why does not the Koran speak about love?
4- If you teach little children about how Islam started, with much fighting and war, will not kids be violent and aggressive?
5- Mohammad didn’t give any prophecy, how can he be a prophet?
6- Why Mohammad and all first leaders of Islam accepted the Bible but new religious leaders teach that the Bible is fake and not original?
7- If the Bible we have is not original, where is the original?
8- How could Mohammad at the age of 55 marry a girl at the age of 8, is it normal?
9- The life of Mohammad is full of killing and fighting and marrying a lot of women, does not that encourage a perverted society?
Loving Father. We all must see ourselves as prodigals in the sight of God,needing His grace, His forgiveness. And, experiencing His forgiveness and joyful welcome, to know to rejoice when He welcomes other sinners as we were welcomed.
Be what you are. Christians must live up to the standards of what they really are, a new people of God, inhabited by the Holy Spirit. New life of Christians exposed from Ephesians 4:25-32. We must show in our living our resemblance to Christ our Lord.
Working hard in spiritual things. A message that was a blessing for me, reminding me again about the importance of healthy spiritual food. I found very helpful the idea that exercising in godliness must be hard as training for athletes. I needed this message!
Zeal for purity in doctrine. Needful reminder of the subtleties of Satan in introducing false teaching in the church. Paul's vehemence in refuting this shows that there is no false teaching which is not dangerous for the soul, for the people of God. We must fight for the purity of doctrine and against every false teaching, not against some which looks to us "great".
Great Sermon! 7th on my new odyssey Thankyou brother for this sermon, which is the 7th on my new odyssey of listening to a sermon from each book of the Bible, preached by a minister whom,as far as i am aware ,have not heard before.
