What I loved the most was the light shed on the depravity of Jericho; the resultant curse on the city; and the conseqquences to the family of the man who rebuit it. To then connect this with Christ's visit to the city was masterful. The gospel online, from Northern Ireland and other places, is important because, at least in America, while there's a church on every corner it's hard to hear the old Reformed message about sin, repentance, and the blood of Christ. Are you discouraged and seeking guidence? Do you believe God's promises-judging Him faithful who has promised? This is a most helpful sermon! Brown is pointing out some very eye-opening and important information in this message that I can testify to from personal experience. To my shame I have to admit that I used to have sexual desires for young boys and pedophilia definetely IS very closely related to homosexuality. In the gay "lifestyle" you are only sought after as long as you are young and nice-looking. When the sin of homosexuality is through with you you are cast aside like a piece of trash. It's only by the Grace of God that I was restrained from acting on these evil phantasies but I still struggle daily with the regret about having adopted the lie of a homosexual identity. Yes God forgives the repentant sinner but there may remain wounds in your soul you might have to carry with you for the rest of your life in this present evil world.
