Great Sermon! Thank you for preaching this sermon. So many people need to understand that repentance isn't just being sorry about sin, but that we have to bring "fruit" showing our repentance. In the case of adulterous remarriage, also known as present continuous tense adultery, the proof of repentance simply boils down to the fact that you must stop committing the adultery AND that means you have to get out of the remarriage! Also, Jesus does not give the injured spouse the right to remarry. They should pray, wait and trust the Lord to change the prodigal spouse’s heart---transforming their life and turning their heart back to their covenant, one-flesh spouse and restoring the covenant marriage for His own glory!

Great Sermon! Allie,
No one came out this time, unfortunately. We can't know the impact of the 12 people who were there with signs; we may have had a couple of people reconsider, but we can't know for sure. It didn't seem as busy that day.
Thanks for the sermon I've been working through Mark in my high school Sunday School class and am speaking on this exact passage this week. Great insights! One highlight for me is when you reminded me that the reason I want to be with the church family is because I meet God there. Thanks!
Timing Please note that the lecture begins at 1 minute, 43 seconds. We neglected to turn off the recorder when we took a break. We took a break at 56 minutes and resumed at the 1:10 mark. Sorry for the inconvenience.
