Great Sermon! This is a powerful reminder from Scripture of the exclusivity of Christ's claims on the church and our responsibility in response to that.
Great Sermon! As a person with a long term illness I am total dependant on the good shepeard. I just loves this sermon and Rev Cannon gives such beautiful illustrations that bring out the reason that Jesus really is the good. Thank you for this lovely message
When I first posted this intro for the sermon on the Rapture, I was pretty new to Sermon Audio and didn't realize folks ACTUALLY READ the comments. I wish now I had provided a bit more detail. This is a brief expansion to the first entry. The whole study of exchatology (end times)is one with a great deal of disagreement by good and learned theologians. At the center of the debate is the idea of the Rapture, the Kingdom (present now or coming in the future), and where the destruction of Israel in 70AD fits. This message is intended to put the destruction of Israel into historical/eschatological perspective and also to consider the idea of the Rapture, particularly whether or not the Bible teaches that Believers will be raptured before the judgement day.
