“ Pearl! ” This message from a man who ought to be heard. I found his commentary on the local vs universal church, as it pertained to the sermon topic, particularly profound. This is a highly relevant message that needs to sting (too) many ears.
Keep preaching Mr. Dixon. As we get older it is common to become set (settled) in our ways and overly confident with past success as you have had; your great trials no doubt helped to give you a great humility which I believe is evident in the truths you have come to embrace. Thank you, brother!
“ Great Sermon! ” This was great how the Baptists in history defended there beliefs when the government tried to mess things up for them and yoke together with the Churches. The government certainly does not own the Church and in no way should it be allowed to. Seperation of Church and State is right, though the State will try to get the Church to compromise! The Church needs to stand up and confirm their beliefs.
